Mastinell Cava & Boutique Hotel by Olivia Hotels Collection

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was the highlight of our trip. Our room was very stylishin and spacious, the hotel's architecture and design was amazing and the staff were so gracious. We had a private tasting and tour of their cava making facilities and learned so much. We were also impressed with the restaurant.

There was really nothing at all. My only small tweak might be to add some less formal food for snacks and lunch. We really enjoyed the meals we ate there, but found that we didn't always want something quite so rich.

The staff blew us away with how friendly and professional they were. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The bed super comfortable. Definitely recommend doing their on site tour of how they produce Cava - so informative, Tatiana is an excellent guide! The onsite restaurant is excellent to. All in all I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Paying for the spa is a bit mean in my opinion. Personally the spa should be included in the rate.

getting room service took a bit of time, language barrier but the excellent and cheerful staff ready to assist made up for everything. Beautiful architecture and ambience

Breakfast was wonderful. The restaurant was elite. The cava was sensational. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The facilities were gorgeous and clean. Every detail was perfect!

Very nice rooms, modern and clean, outstanding views, great wine (Cava) tour experience, excellent food quality for breakfast and dinner. Wine tour staff were great! Convenient parking and access to Vilafranca.

Restaurant serving staff were amateurish and indifferent. Rooms are beautiful but slightly impractical (lacking nightstands, no towel racks, ...). Expensive.

Breakfast was excellent and reflected the general high standard of the food served at this hotel.Our supper was one of the very best meals we have eaten in Spain.The location is very picturesque - the hotel is surrounded by beautifully tended vineyards and the architecture of the building is extraordinary and very chic.

We love the location - beautiful views and walks around the vineyards. Staff great really helpful and engaging. Nothing was too much trouble. Food amazing. Only 10 rooms so peaceful and intimate. Plenty of cupboard space and room stylish. Bed very comfortable. Only minor criticisms - No bedside tables and no where to put much in the bathroom and lack of shower curtain - stylish but not totally practical

Very unique hotel, beautiful architect great people work there. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Food was great. Their breakfast was delicious. The wine is amazing. I love there cava and the wine testing experience was really nice. My only problem was I had no Internet connection in my room and I mentioned couple times to the front desk. but they couldn’t fix it so I had to keep going to the lobby to use my Internet. That was the only thing and I had a car so for me the location was perfect, but if you don’t have a car, you are very limited. Definitely recommend this place ??

Minor issues in the room, shower handle was not nicely constructed. Restaurant could have better service, still have some space for improvement as for 5 star hotel :)

The restaurant could improve the descriptions of the sizes of the plates, and in general raise the quality of the dishes

Lovely unique hotel, rooms a great size plus a free bottle of cava. Lovely to lie in bed looking out over the vineyards. Lots of lovely little touches to make your stay more comfortable and staff were great

Being picky, the hand basin squinted water everywhere if too much pressure applied

Very beautiful property! The location was perfect to visit wineries in the area. Very romantic! Excellent breakfast! The staff was lovely. We would absolutely stay here again!

Such a beautiful hotel!We loved our stay. We had a room overlooking the vines. A lovely view to enjoy the bottle of cava that was waiting for us on arrival.We did the tour and tasting which was informative and very enjoyable. It was great to explore the winery and learn more about cava production. The tasting was even better! The guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Amazing! If you are thinking about staying here - book it. You won't regret it!

AMAZING ! Would recommend to anyone that likes wine and wants to know a little bit more about cava and spin. A really special place !!! Rooms are amazing, very modern. Staff is incredible ! Food is out of this world. A very nice ambiance to a very nice amazing hotel !!! Would definitely go back !

I enjoyed all of it, but I must say that the pool wasn’t the cleanest one I swam in.For a five star accommodation everything should be flawless and the pool wasn’t.There were flies, floating on the surface and worms on the bottom.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by vineyards. The staff knew it was my birthday and was kind to provide complimentary beverages. The room was comfortable and I had a great stay.

It's a gastronomique menu on the weekend so there's no option to order anything but the set menu. You can easily go to restaurants in town but it would be nice to have that option offered.

Got a free upgrade of the room, bottle of cava.Free charging of electrical cars.Breakfast is very good.Their restaurant is the best.

Absolutely beautiful hotel set in a stunning vineyard. We travelling during January so can only imagine how gorgeous it is when the vines are grown! The staff were exceptional, went above and beyond and so friendly. We had the vinotherapy treatment massage - amazing! We also ate in the hotel restaurant a couple of times and the food was delicious. The house cava was incredible too. 10/10 absolutely recommend!

Didn’t manage to get a tour/wine tasting because it was only at 10am unfortunately but we went to Freixenet on the train instead.
