    Pros +

    • The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were very good. The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony overlooking the town -- Elegant hotel. The town is nice to visit with its historical interest and nice shops.
    • I have very mixed feelings about this hotel: in terms of decor, we were teleported into a magnificant past, where the rooms were decorated and furnished in "old glory" style. You eitjer like it or you fon't, but don't expect modernity.Everything was taken care off with great live, to the last detail. There were fresh roses at every breakfast table each day. Breakfast was also nice and plentifull.Parking was great and rhe lication is perfect for wanting to explore the Amalfi coast and Pompeii.Though very kind, the staff did not always seem to be very knowledgeable on what to do and where to go.
    • Good central location. Airy and clean. Excellent staff

    Cons -

    • The hotel was difficult to find. The address provided was for a street with only foot traffic access. An address for parking lot and car access should be provided. Secure free underground parking was much appreciated!
    • We were a bit unlucky that at the same timeas our stay, therewas a big filming production staying (and filming) at the hotel. This meant that they occupied large parts of the hotek that we were than asked to leave to not disturb. We also couldn't freely move between our rooms and were made to stop behind corners to not upset the filmers or ushered to move "fast, fast, fast" to get out of their way.Whike staff apologized for this, this was inappropriate towards paying hotel guest, I believe.
    • Being in central Naples, it was not easy to find or to locate the parking

The location of the hotel is really great. It is close to Cava de’ Tirreni train station and a bunch of great restaurants. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and responsible. They printed out the train schedule for me when I mentioned my worry about the train strike on my day of departure. I left something valuable in my room, and they found it really quickly after I informed them. I offered them tips but they did not take it.The room is spacious. The hotel is very quiet at night. The price of the hotel is pretty acceptable compared to the prices of other hotels in Campania where I stayed.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Decor very nice. Great base to visit the Amalfi coast.

Can’t use your own kettle in the room to have tea/coffee.

Our stay at the hotel Victoria was exceptional. We had the suite and it exceeded our expectation. Breakfast was sensational and the staff especially Lucia was so friendly and accomadating. This is the third time we have stayed at this property and it does not disappoint. If you are planning a trip to the Amalfi coast this is an ideal base. It is only 13 minutes by train to Salerno, where you can then catch a ferry to all the popular beach spots.

The hotel is very close to the railway station and the centre of the town. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious with a balcony. The breakfast and dinner were both excellent and plenty of everything. The staff were very friendly and exceedingly helpful and several of them spoke English and were happy to translate for us.

Having to leave the hotel to continue our journey. We would have liked to stay longer.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Victoria. It was a great location for visiting Cava and surrounding areas. Our room was spacious and extremely clean. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a very nice continental breakfast with delicious pastries. Special thanks to Emmanuel who spoke excellent English and was able to answer our many questions, and help secure a private taxi for a tour of the Amalfi coast. This hotel is affordable and in a great location. This is the hotel to stay in if you are visiting Cava de Tirreni!

Elegant hotel and comfortable rooms. Lots of bars and restaurants a few minutes down the street. Makes a great place to stay when visiting Amalfi coast and/or Pompeii.

The property is beautiful and very convenient. It’s located in the city centre, at walking distance of the train station; yet, cars can briefly park in front of it to drop bags and passengers, or for longer term in the underground garage. The staff was also very nice.

The breakfast could have a bit more options, especially the bread, there could be at least an option of brown bread.

    9UnknownPosted on: 8-6-2023

Great Location, very clean, amazing staff, good food

Pot of tea made with hot rather then boiling water. No kettle in the room.

Absolutely incredible hotel! Incredible staff. Staff was very welcoming, accommodating and helpful throughout the course of our stay. We were upgraded to a junior suite which made the whole stay even more comfortable. The food was exquisite. The hotel is conveniently located with less than 5 minutes from the station and bus station. There are shops nearby

    Nothing negative

    10CarinePosted on: 7-6-2023

The hotel is amazingly located near a long pedestrian street with shopping, bars, and cafes, which we didn't expect. Excellent staff service We had breakfast on the terrace, which was really enjoyable. FREE Parking in the hotel garage was a BIG plus

slightly far from the coast - but wasn't a problem for us

This vintage hotel was amazing, the location was perfect for shopping and transportation. The hotel was very clean, the staff were truely amazing, very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Always going an extra mile to meet our needs. In particular lady Naomi and Mr. Manuela, being bilingual, were very useful and taught us a lot about Italy and the Cava de Tirreni region.

While I really enjoyed my stay at this Hotel, the monotony of the breakfast menu, especially having the same food and fruits every day put me off. Secondly, I wish the three bed room had a toilet of its own. The TV had only Italian channels.

    7PomposiPosted on: 12-16-2022

The staff was very nice and friendly. The facilities in the building are a bit antique but super cool. It was very clean, too! And the location was great. Right in the town centre, in front of the major train station of the town, 150m from the town hall.

Unfortunately, the bed were not the most comfortable and they could use some fresh-up or possibly being replaced altogether. Also, probably not the best value for money, considering the EXTREMELY poor breakfast options. I will probably go there again but I'll definitely opt out for breakfast and I'll just grab it somewhere else instead.

great location, staff was super friendly, parking definitely a plus

break fast was still in COVID style which takes away the buffet style. we were asked to fill a form with requests but they never happened
