Best Western Premier CMC Girona

GREAT choice! Staff helpful. Room comfortable & quiet. Best part was EXCELLENT buffet breakfast & wonderful 3 course dinner with wine every night. Good food, good value, & so convenient. Almost like an all in-inclusive. Made our stay in Girona relaxing.

The room & the bathroom were spacious and they are pet friendly which is always appreciated; also 15 min walk from the train station

It needs a bit of updating, you can notice quite a bit of wear & tear; also gym could be improved (bigger range of equipment)

I spent a great time in this hotel. The staff was welcoming, helpful and offered a quality service.The room was really large and clean.The fact there is a restaurant inside the hotel is a real asset. Many dishes are suggested at an affordable price.Finally it’s possible to go shopping at the department store El Corte Inglés next to the hotel.

The hotel is located quite far from Girona train station and the city center.

Everything was clean, although the furnitures and facilities are quite old and used. All devices were working.

Noise isolation is really poor. Cleaning stuff worked in front of the door and in the corridor from 7:45 AM onwards (pulling things out, prepared cleaning in other rooms). The constant pushing, emptying, banging, and opening of things and containers made it impossible to keep sleeping.Quite old, non-up-to-standard furnishings by European standards. I felt more like being in an American hotel.Although I paid 25 euros for my dog, nothing was provided as is customary in other hotels. No dog bed, no bowl, not even a dog blanket was offered.

The bar very badly stocked. Only one draft beer and only one variety of wine. Location too far from old town 40 minutes walk not 15 as advertised.

Sauna not working with back rest missing and nails sticking out. Jacuzzi not working until last day. Kept being told contradictory stories by staff. After much effort from us promised a 25% refund which still hasn’t been received.

I wish there was some water to your room complementary. With the air conditioning and fan at night I could smell some smoking I do not know why because our room was not smoky .

Very comfortable room

There was no extra milk avaliable when I asked at reception. I thought this was poor.The 'offer' of a reduced price for breakfast (13 Euros rather than 16 Euros) was not clear. I was disappointed to be told I would be charged the higher price because I had not booked in advance. This is a strange practice anyway as one does not necessarily know that one will want breakfast the next morning.These two points took the edge off what would have been a perfect stay.

Restaurant need better supervisor , waiters seems to be confused , maybe overworked or understaffed .

The hotel was fantastic! We ate in the restaurant and the food was great. Our rooms were large and quiet. Breakfast was very good

If I had to find a downside, it distance from old town, which we walked to but got a taxi home at night.

There is a dedicated storage area for bicycles as well as an area to work on them, including a work stand and tools. The room was exceptionally clean, and one of the largest I stayed at in Spain.

The phone in the room didn't work, and I did mention it twice to desk staff. I wish the restaurant had a bigger menu, but what they did have was good.

Location and staff

The card to our room wasn’t working on the second evening of our stay and a technician was called. We were waiting over 3 hours in the lounge.I would have thought that a complimentary coffee/drink would have been offered to us because of the inconvenience but there was nothing except a verbal apology. I do not blame the staff on duty, they were most courteous always.

Clean, comfortable, good sizes rooms and lovely staff. Excellent dinner
