Vagrants and what appeared to be a very questionable looking group of people hang out aside the hotel. They tell you not to go that way, and only through the front, but don’t explain why. This is why. I was afraid I was going to get mugged.

location and generally the design and cleanliness of the place, spaciousness of the room.Hotel keeper was very helpful- arranged a taxi pickup @ 4am for us (Uber does not work in Girona, suggested apps did not work with foreign cell numbers)

reception was missing an ambient music background and light- would make the place much cosier.As i expected a hotel atmosphere i was disappointed to find the place absolutely silent- might be a big + for someone else.i also expected a restaurant (since they serve breakfasts) or bar to be there- none of which werent there.

Location, Location, Location!

Make sure you book your early AM taxis BEFORE the hotel desk has retired for the evening. They are helpful, but once gone, they are gone till at least 8AM next morning

Hotel Historic was the most beautifully appointed hotel i've ever stayed at- no detail was left out, to include this beautiful mural on the bathroom door, the electronic tub, the stonewashed wood, the soft lighting around the bed, the embroidered bedding, it was the most visually beautiful and comfortable space.

Historical room, very beautiful, people are nice! Breakfast is amazing!

No boiled bottle, no platter! Room either so cold or hot, toooo dry!

A beautiful family run hotel located in the old town convenient to many attractions and restaurants. The rooms were spacious and well decorated.

It was a little difficult to park and find but we made it.

Beautiful boutique hotel just steps from the cathedral, spotless and charming. Would return !

This is a fabulous hotel in a great location with free parking just a short walk awayThe hotel is beautifully furnished with the added bonus of having central heating so the rooms are lovely and warm on cold winter days ( and nights!)Lovely breakfasts with lots of choice The hosts are exceptional!

This family-run hotel is beautiful, clean, and has so many charming details. The room was an adequate size and the bathroom nice. My one suggestion for them is that it would be nice to have more searing in the room than just one hard desk chair. There was a chest that could be seating but it was the only place to put luggage. We would stay there again!!

Only 1 pillow per person! Would suggest you request an extra if staying for more than 1 night!

Room was modern, comfortable, classy, unique. Breakfast was substantial enough and good quality (eggs, yogurt, fruit, pastries, breads, cheeses, meats).

The room was quite small compared to the pictures and the price asked. The location was amazing, the room itself was beautiful and very clean. I didn't eat breakfast.

Beautiful hotel in quiet location a short walk from train station. Host was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.
