Pros +
- A 10 min walk from the train/bus station and close to major things I wanted to see such as Game of Thrones stairs the walk on top of the city wall and the metal bridge. Large grocery store less than 100 metres and market 2 minutes away. Great common room with lockers to store luggage after you have checked out and before your transportation. Both staff that I encountered were helpful.
- Customer service and cleanliness and above all, proximity to the Valencia airport!
- We've been 3 days in this hotel, is small but very clean and comfortable, the staff is good, the location also.
Cons -
- I wish theyoffered breakfast. The alternative, going around the corner to one of several coffee shops, was fine, but not as convenient as a hotel breakfast with unlimited coffee.
- The cafeteria area garbage was not emptied and garbage accumulated in the bins. Looked like someone forgot the check them
- Receptionist was not accommodating early check in. But I guess they are busy

Perfect location, you walk a few minutes and you'll get in the Barri Vell. Girona is not big.Large and comfortable room, with an elegant bathroom. Tea, coffee and kettle provided in the room.I loved the communal area where you can go and relax drinking tea made on the spot. Also, that's where you can leave your luggage in a big locker with a passkey in case you check out in the morning but need to leave later. The staff is really nice as well.
The rooms were very fresh and clean. The location was excellent. The staff was friendly. They use the center atrium space as a locked secure bike storage with hanging hooks for 8-10 bikes. The staff took bike security seriously. We didn’t use them, but the hotel had lockers for storing your bags prior to check-in or after you check out.

The room was quiet clean and comfortable
The cafeteria area garbage was not emptied and garbage accumulated in the bins. Looked like someone forgot the check them
Rooms are very modern, clean, comfortable. Bathrooms are nice with premium toiletries.
Receptionist was not accommodating early check in. But I guess they are busy
Location & clean
Pillows too big for bed
Great location - market right opposite and old town only 10 mins walk. Also secure bike storage was helpful
The rooms weren't very soundproof so could hear quite a lot of noise from other rooms in the hotel
- The location was very convenient, close to everything.- The room was spacious and had everything we need.- The AC was good and working well.
- The reception was small and has no AC, but it wasn't really a problem.- There was no safe in the room but there were lockers on the 1st floor. So, it was a bit inconvenient to store the things that we need to keep safe.
The hotel is clean, has all the basic amenities and is 1 km away from the historic center. It has a lounge area with dining tables and cutlery in case you order-in food. The staff was friendly and helpful. Special shout-out to Alexander who re-filled our water bottle multiple times. We read that the tap water in Girona is not the best, so should be avoided. So we asked Alexander for water via the filtration system in the hotel kitchen. It was a blessing.
Rooms were a bit small and cramped
My flight to Girona airport was significantly delayed so I had to make an unplanned overnight in Girona centre before my onward travel. A last minute booking was made & I was very pleased.Affordable, clean, good location, friendly staff & a good nights sleep.
Too expensive for what the room was and very loud from the street and hall we keep getting woken up
The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the room was very clean. The location near old town was good.
I rarely leave a bad review, and in this case, it wasn't the staff or cleanliness of the facility, 2 really important factors when we choose a place. However, it went downhill from there. Ultimately, we didn't have a very good stay. The door did not fit well, and you had to use excessive force to get it to shut tightly. The room was small and sparse, with only 2 bedside lights, so the room was very dark. There was a very small refrigerator, which barely got cool, it really was not useable. The bathroom door would not shut at all, as it was out of square at the bottom, and would not close into the doorframe. Then, at 8 AM we were awakened by loud noises coming from a construction crew right under our window, using an excavator with a rock hammer to bust up the concrete sidewalk. It actually shook the entire building. This isn't the hotel's fault, but it certainly did not enhance our stay. 10 minutes after the jack hammer started, the fire alarm in the hotel went off. We started to evacuate, smelled no smoke, and after a couple minutes the alarm was silenced. THEN, another 10 or so minutes pass when there was loud knocking at the door, I said loudly we had not checked out yet. I was informed that it was security, and that there was smoke in our room. I said no, there is no smoke. They insisted on coming in. We had to get dressed, and then struggled with the sticking door to open it. Two staff entered and stared at the ceiling smoke detector all the while telling me there was smoke in there. I said NO, there's no smoke. Then they said maybe it was the shower. Shower??? I said, we were in BED, and doubt the shower was smoking. Finally, they left after 5 minutes of investigation satisfied them that there was NO smoke. Worn out on all of this, we simply gathered our things and checked out. In short for what we paid, it was a very disappointing stay. There are better value facilities in the area.
super helpful staff, on site parking, great location close to old town.
Staff not helpful, rooms dark unless you face the street
First room had no shower curtain or means to keep water from going all over the floor. They switched us to another room. That room had one light over the sofa. The light did not work due to a faulty switch so the light was inoperable. They brought us a table light. She, the employee said, well put the table light on a stool on the sofa if you want to sit on the sofa and read!!!! Our room faced a tiny courtyard and was incredible dark at all times during the day. The manager seemed like she didn't care about us. The ad for the hotel had stated an electric kettle came with each room. When I told the staff there was no electric kettle they told us to go downstairs and use the common room! Finally an employee brought us an electric kettle (which we used every day!).
Friendly staff. Very well appointed room and shower room.
There wasn't a kettle in the room, it was in a communal room. There were no cookies as stated. Also no mini bar as stated.
Exceptional
When I booked they charche a fee of 2 .66 euros or something like that and in presence of hotel staff they recherche me same amount of money
Bad
This hotel is absolutely not recommended and a waste of money. I booked this room to spend a few relaxing days in Girona with my mother. When we arrived on Tuesday evening after a long drive from Valencia, the hotel’s parking spaces were full. The young man at the reception advised us to use the parking garage across from the hotel. He said it would be cheaper for multiple nights, as you would get a discount if you stayed longer, even cheaper than the hotel’s own parking. However, when we checked out of the garage, none of that turned out to be true — the total cost was much higher: €60 instead of the €36 the hotel receptionist had promised us. When we asked the hotel reception how this was possible, the woman on duty showed no concern and just kept repeating that she didn’t know anything about it. She didn’t even make the effort to contact her colleague who had given us the advice or to ask her manager how to resolve the situation in a way that would be satisfactory for us as guests. The customer service at this hotel is absolutely unacceptable. On top of that, the rooms are very noisy. We specifically asked for a quiet room but were given one next to the cleaning closet, where we were disturbed every morning by the cleaning staff. So don’t go here!!
Walls are very thin so it is very noisy with people coming and going through the night and early risers making noise early in the morning. The mini fridge also made a loud noise through the night so we switched it off in the end. The bed and the pillows were uncomfortable. I would pay a bit more next time for a more comfortable stay where I am not continually woken up through the night and early morning.
