The room was perfectly basic, just as I expected, while the staff was very accommodating.

the location is great, high value for money, clean and quite spacious

a king bed would be better than two separate and connected

Good to have coffee machine in lobby but surprising that not included in accommodation cost.No plug for bath so that couldn't be used.Room a bit cramped (304) but ok.

Really close to train station, you could almost see the hotel from the front of the station. Staff spoke perfect English and really helpful and friendly. Hotel was very clean and I found it very quiet and the area felt safe. There was an all night shop right by it if you needed something and there was a vending machine also in the foyer.

Not so much didn't like but the room was very small, it was fine but it literally considered of a double bed occupying most of the floor space and almost touching the door as you entered. The bathroom also was small but it had a perfectly fine toilet and shower which worked fine. Just not luxury but it was a 2* hotel to be fair, it was fine for me. There was a door stop in the bathroom which had come away from its fixing leaving a screw sticking out the floor which I stubbed my toe on, they need to get that fixed (not the toe, the fixing)

Great location central Girona. Staff welcoming, accommodating, and very helpful. Late check in very useful. Shower very good. Air con worked great.

Actually this was the second booking. We had booked for 16th September 2025 and we ill with Covid. We did not travel. Even though we did not use the facility on the 16th payment was taken. Could we have a refund

Fabulous location. Very friendly staff.

Bed a little uncomfortable.

Great position, easy access to Girona train station and bus station. Comfortable, quiet room & spacious bathroom.Only 10 minute walk to the city centre. Good local restaurants, cafes and shops etc.

A bit small

Its location was excellent and the owners were so helpful and friendly. It was very comfortable and had what we needed to use as a base to explore Girona and catch the fast train to Barcelona each day. A really great experience thank you

When we first opened the room there was a smell, it after leaving the balcony door open for a few hours while we went out, it was gone and didn’t occur again. Although there was no mini fridge in the room, the owners and staff let us keep some salad in their fridge, so that was really helpful

The hotel is old but sweet and the location is excellent. Very close to cafes that offer breakfast and lunch and there is a Veritas less than a minute walk. The best part of the hotel was the staff especially the reception staff who greeted us when we arrived. He was very welcoming, warm, explained everything and felt genuine when he said to let him know if there was anything we needed. There is always staff available 24 hours and all at the reception desk were warm and greeted and welcomed us whenever we returned from our excursions.

The bathroom was very small and has very little space to put your toiletries. The shower curtain was too short to stick to the bathtub while showering so it kept flapping and thus would cause water to splash onto to the floor.

Terrible bed, old feeling, expensive for what you get.Aircon is either freezing or boiling.

Extremely nice and helpful staff. It is clearly a family run hotel and they greet you by name as you arrive, which makes staying in the hotel very pleasant.

Friendly staff, good location and decent rooms.

Hotel was well located adjacent to the train & bus stations. There were restaurants and shops closeby and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with air conditioning which was very welcome as outside temperatures were very hot. We would certainly recommend Hotel Europa to other travellers.

Everything went very smoothly

The view from our window was dull, it was very noisy first thing in the morning and the room lacked character

The location - close to both old part and main station, and stuff is there 24/7.

Literally best you can get for the price, window blinds cannot be fully lifted but it’s still enough for day light.
