Hotel Can Blanc

The property is beautiful and they were very helpful in going us a room so my wife did not have to walk up any stairs. There is plenty of free parking.

+ Great location in an idyllic park like area. Short walk to Olot city center, nice restaurants nearby.+ Very nice rooms.+ Perfect for a relaxing time.

The location is great and the grounds were so peaceful. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was great and we would stay longer next time.

Surrounded by beautiful fields ,woods and a wonderful restaurant El Deu the other one is too expenive ...the room had 3 room bedroom bathroom and tv room which was wonderful

you need a car or bike because we walked and its 2km from the bus stop and at night we walked into town ..so its a bit too much unless you like walking 8 km

Room for improvement in accommodation and service staff

This was a welcoming and very pleasant place to stay at the end of December, with a warm and comfortable bedroom suite including a spacious bathroom with a good bath as well as shower. The breakfast was excellent, including tasty good-quality local ham and cheese. Dinner was separately available at the La Deu restaurant across the road and was of spectacularly good quality and good value. The hotel and its garden are in the forest, with many birds around, and a beautiful scenic walk along a quiet little country road to get in or out of town in 20 minutes (or easily by taxi).

Bedroom was basic and lacking light. It would have been good to have bigger bedside tables

The setting was beautiful. The staff were gracious and friendly. The location was convenient to volcanic park. The free breakfast was delicious.

The room was very spare. The mattress was not great, would have benefitted from a mattress pad. A bedside clock and two pillows per guest would also be welcome additions.

Fabulously quiet area. Well presented hotel. Local restaurant was good value and very tasty food.

Very comfortable and romantic hotel. The apartment was spacious, especially the bedroom. We asked to include our son, and they kindly added a bed to the room. Exclusive breakfast with local products. We loved it!

The location is very good. Very quite in the green (the other side of the road is the border of Garrotxa NP) not to far from Olot Centre. Located between 2 great restaurants so allows you to walk back to the hotel after a delicious diner. The breakfast was good and staff very friendly.

Bed mattress and pillow a bit hard but didn’t stop me going off after a long biking day.

The restaurant La Deu, a separate business, a short walk away was very friendly and very good meals. The hotel had no restaurant or bar other than for the very poor breakfast.

The breakfast was dreadful. One cereal, cornflakes. One prepared fruit, pineapple. One piece of cheese for all to handle and cut. A number of end pieces of salamis again for everybody to cut themselves without a serviette or fork. Some aging tomatoes in a bowl, the one I took and cut was black inside so I feared eating any salamis or cheese. Excuse was this was the local tradition produce. Not true.....having stayed in 7 other hotels around Catalunya on this trip I can vouch for their excellent food and breakfasts.
