Hotel Vall de Bas

The property was beautiful and quiet. Very tranquil setting. Lovely restaurant for dinner and a beautiful breakfast. Beds are incredibly comfortable. Linens are wonderful. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our two nights stay. Highly highly recommend.

Wonderfully off the beaten track location with great games room to keep the teenager off his phone!

The evening meal was a bit haphazard

It was clean as I thought. And there is a big back yard in the hotel.

We would like to see the bridge of besalu which is located the Historical area. But the hotel is a little far from it

Location is nice and breakfast was pretty good.

Not for a moment did I feel like I was in a four star hotel. The room was meh and the decoration in general is quite lame. We couldn’t check out because there was nobody at the reception desk and in the morning while having breakfast all you could hear was the staff shouting around and being loud. I am certainly not repeating here.

Very comfortable room with a nice big bed. Good wifi and very clean bathroom. The breakfast was a buffet with lots of choice and the option for hot items provided by very helpful friendly staff.

It is a very comfortable hotel built and designed in an elegant and pleasant architectural style. I very much liked my spacious and elegantly furnished room. And I felt really welcome and well looked after by the hotel staff. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. In a nutshell: Vall de Bas is a hotel to which I will certainly return.

Maite was great! She made our stay exceptional- helped with recommendations and check on us often! The hotel is lovely and a nice change of pace from others with the open grounds and pool. Olot is the nearest town and is a gem. We stayed 2 nights but could have stayed a few days more to explore the area! We will return!!!

The staff was very polite and caring. The terrace in my room that goes directly to the backyard and pool. The food was very good as well.

The AC of my room smelled of cigarettes. The gym was in bad condition.

Good location and good value for money; I didn't expect to get such a nice room for the price I paid.

Location is great, very peaceful and quiet.Breakfast is good, with lots of food to choose from. Everyone is extremely kind.The room was very clean and cosy.

High level facilities, very friendly staff. Perfect place to stay for hiking in the area.

We weren't notified that breakfast was priced a certain way- sweet buffet, savory buffet and coffee.

It was a very short stay, so we cound't enjoy all the services. But we left with the idea we shoud go back and stay longer to fully enjoy it, because we liked it a lot and had no complains.

The nescafe in the room. Nespresso would be by far a better match to the place!
