Beach was nice. Breakfast included. You need a car or a taxi as food options are limited. Front desk can arrange for a cab service for you.

This is not a 4 star property. Maybe it was 30 years ago but it is in major need of a refresh. Carpets old, rooms bland. Dinner was absolutely awful. I attempted to have a dinner there but it was not edibile. I left, complained and they still tried to charge me for the meal at checkout. During checkout I reminded them we had agreed with the restaurant manager that we would not be charged and they threatened to call the police on me if I didn’t pay. So I paid and they told could write an email to get my money back. I doubt I will ever see that money again.

Below average hotel in desperate need of renovation.Staff is friendly by the facilities need drastic makeover. Breakfast was bountiful but mediocre in quality.

2 fabulous oools & the views are to die for. Great little town a mile away with good Italian food. Perfect balcony to enjoy a bottle of wine.

It was quite far to the beach shore. The rooms are very bright as the only curtains are sheer. Bed is very very firm.

The beach full of fish (good for snorkeling) and the hotel location (next to Port Azzuro).

The water pressure (very low pressure.The breakfast was very poor.

If you are aware that you are coming to the 4star hotel which has 4star hotel amenities but are actually worn-out than you will be happy.The staff tried to keep everything clean and functional but there was a lot of items which were not in the best shape.A/C and spacious room.Daily room service.Staff which tried to behave lake in the real 4star hotel.

View, we had one with probably 2nd worse in the entire hotel behind bars looking in the wall. If you are keen in the view, make sure you order the rooms with view.Lot of worn out items as details which requires higher investment as cracklings around the pool area, lift to the beach terribly creaked, some missing decorations etc.I did not like the situation when I had to pay for the water at the dinner, while having the half-board. It should have been communicated better. The water at the breakfast was for free.

The wonderful view from the room, the cleanliness, the food and a nice atmosphere thanks to friendly staff. Also the swimming pools were clean and large.

The parking was large but a bit dusty.

Former luxury grand hotel. With all the amenities one may need. Super view, nice pools, bars, elevator to private beach.

10-15 years ago, must have been top, now a bit outdated. Service mediocre, breakfast just OK, no vegetables what so ever. Ketchup you have to ask for. At 9:40 , the canned peach "is finished". Coffee only from machine. No omelets, pancakes served... With a better management and a little attention, it could be a 9+ hotel.

My room faced the bay, so it had a wonderful view. Close to Porto Azzurro and a lovely beach nearby.

Air conditioning was off because it was not yet the hot season. That was OK, however, there was no air circulation until late at night when the fan came on.

The pools, the beach, the ocean view

Breakfast: Very poor and not at all like the pictures on Booking.com shows! Scrambled eggs one day made of rotten eggs, even the smell was awful but the staff didn’t care. The bread buns were mostly hard and yesterdays news. Bacon undercooked.Dinner: According to Booking.com this hotel should have 2 restaurants, not true there is only one and that was catastrophic. The food was just awful and completely undercooked. The staff stressed out and very unfriendly.Beach: The beach restaurant was closed the whole week due to “Bad weather”. The weather was amazing during the whole stay so again just a lie.Bed: Extremely uncomfortable, the mattress springs hurt my hip and when I complained the owners and the housekeeping very bluntly informed me that “we have orthopedic mattresses in all rooms”. I got no help whatsoever and had to sleep on pain killers. The only solution they offered me was to make up the sofa bed for me. Outrageous!Price and 4 stars: This hotel is very far from living up to its price and the 4 stars they claim to have!Booking.com need to review this hotel and take action. This is nothing but a scam altogether and I want my money back!

The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. We had a complementary room upgrade. Thank you. Private beach and lift to it was good fun.

Tricky location with one way traffic and driving. Not much atmosphere at the hotel. . We changed from half board to bed and breakfast after one night due to quality of food.

Exceptional views of the sea and surrounding town. The best waterfront seating without hassle and crowds. Water from shore is filled with fish for easy snorkeling. Giant saltwater pools is great for afternoon cooling off, and having cocktails. Whole place is amazingly clean.

The beach area was great - the elevator was slow, but overall it was beautiful - no complaints. The staff were great as well.

We did not have a view at all and our back terrace was not nice to sit out on. The breakfast was not so great. Too many offerings and not great quality. I would stick with 4-5 items and make them great. The bacon was always undercooked.

- Private beach (with working elevator from the hotel)- free parking- sea view and view to Porto Azzurro- we got a good deal and for that price it was a lovely place to stay (the normal rate might be a bit high for our feeling)

- Breakfast is very simple (small selection for example only one bread type and one kind of cheese)

Facilities and staff

It felt dated. Key operated doors, lack of light switches and electrical sockets, shutter kept jamming, and air conditioning could be stronger.

Fantastic view over the sea and nearby port, spacious balcony. It is worth to spend some extra money and have the see sight view.

wonderful location and views. Great choices for breakfast. The lift to the beach and pontoon was fun. Lovely choice of food. Great gluten free cakes for breakfast and the staff were so helpful and lovely.

The pool was so salty and some of the sun beds were old and not useable. Not much fresh fruit for breakfast and the coffee machine kept breaking down.
