Pros +
- Nice location and friendly service
- Warm and friendly staff.Great food at the restaurants. Suite was nice and big for the whole family.Perfect beach for my 6 & 9 year olds . Shallow and mild enough for me to sittervise from a distance.
- This hotel is absolutely gorgeous with a beautiful pool area and great rooms. Has a cool 60s vibe. Staff is great and cleaning is absolutely outstanding - best we’ve ever had in a hotel - fresh towels, turn down and everything else was on point. A feature that we loved was the cute beach shuttle! This hotel has an amazing beach club with a great lunch restaurant and all the facilities. Even has complimentary paddle boards and little boats that was so much fun.
Cons -
- No air condition and bad air quality at the room. Leading to sleepless nights
- It was inconvenient for the dogs as they were not allowed anywhere other than the lobby and room.
- The restaurant was too fancy and would have been great to have the beach restaurant open for longer

Amazing staff and beautiful spa
The restaurant was too fancy and would have been great to have the beach restaurant open for longer
beach great, rooms comfortable, nice pool, great transfer to beach. friendly staff.
dinner was over worked and not great value. at the beach the waiting staff who looked after you if you are on the terrace were unfriendly, did not smile, food frequently served with 20 mins between individual dishes arriving for the family, staff inside the lunch restaurant were much more friendly.
We really like this family run hotel with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Every time we stay there, we feel like not just guests, but part of the family, like at home. The staff is very kind and helpful. The hotel is immersed in a flowering garden, and the balconies offer stunning views of the pine trees, the soft hills of Tuscany and the sea. The hotel's restaurant deserves special praise. The beach is very picturesque.
Excellent service. Swimming pool so big. Calmness and beautiful garden all around. Shuttle to the seaside was authentic (jolly) and always available when needed. The fish dishes so gooood at the seaside restaurant Pagoda. Evening dinners on top. Recommend highly to everyone!
A few weeks back we were very excited about a mini trip to the Gallia Palace Hotel; an opportunity to get under the Tuscan sun by the seaside and break free of the cold and grey that had been our winter and early spring. The best laid plans often go astray and as the holiday approached it became clear the weather was not going to cooperate. It would be overcast with cool temps.Disappointment was upon us and on day one without an opportunity to soak up the sun poolside, we were struggling to decide what to do. It was then we met Francesco who runs the bar at the hotel. His kind demeanor and welcoming approach put our minds at ease as he offered a coffee with a cornetto con crema. If it is true the shortest distance between people is a story and stories are the builders of relationships then Francesco is the most valuable member of the team at this beautiful hotel.Throughout our stay he made us feel special, telling us stories of the hotel, the bar, his experiences and the history of limoncello and the nuances of grappa. He is a knowledgeable sommelier taking pride in his profession while also bringing others along. He introduced us to Antonio who is working with him. It was wonderful to see the mutual respect each of the gentlemen had for each other. Francesco the mentor/teacher caring for the younger Antonio. And Antonio deferring to the expertise of his teacher without losing his own swagger and the individual style he brings to the work. We quickly regarded each of them as new found friends who connected us to the entire resort. We took a drive through the countryside and visited several of the small picturesque villages and towns. We took advantage of the wonderful spa facility giving us the relaxation we really needed. We had a walk along the seaside and hiked to an elevated point to sit and gaze at the sea. And the food! Wonderful meals at the hotel restaurant as well as fantastic restaurants nearby.
Staff were outstanding, really made our family feel welcome. The beach club is lovely - lots of facilities so easy to spend all day on the beach with little ones. We would definitely go back.
The decor has not been updated since 60s so this will not be to everyone's tastes (although everything is spic and span, all in very good condition - we thought it was quite charming, in particular the beach shuttle). We were unfortunate in late Aug / early Sep to suffer from terrible mosquitos so needed to wear repellent constantly (even forgetting for 20 minutes could result in 5 or 6 bites). However we understand this is not a year round problem.
very nice hotel with friendly staff, top food & Italian wines. ideal place to enjoy a calming holiday at the Italian sea side.
Kind and thoughtful staff. Clean rooms delicious food fab dining room and beach restaurant for lunch. The beach shuttle was a wonderful way to get to the beach driver very helpful and useful source of information
Nothing to comment
great location friendly staff. pool and beach within walking distance from the hotel. and shuttle taxi is required
It has a manager with a very high arrogance. He dares to interfere with how guests behave. for example, he sent us to our room to feed our baby. incredible. It would be a shame to other customers because it wasn't the hotel's dinner time. never again
The property is comfortable
Far from sea.Staff was efficient, but detached and cold.
The best !!!!
The restaurant is so good - we did not ever want to leave the property!!!
Amazing staff. Great experience.
The staff are absolutely fantastic. Super friendly and helpful.
It’s very dated
Very good
Rooms are a little dated but very comfortable
Exceptional staff and wonderful food.
Not having tea making facilities in the room.
Everything was excellent
Perhaps more emphasis on wearing masks
