Pros +
- Great historic property. Beautiful building and furnishings. Room was spacious and clean.
- We have been to this hotel a number of times in the past. It is a lovely old villa that is centered right in the middle of Norcia. You can walk out the door and find all that you need in the way of shopping and services. The hotel owners have opened a great new restaurant in a newly renovated building right across the street with a wonderful outside dining area featuring great local food. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant make the Relais a very special place - always happy, smiling and welcoming. We cannot recommend this enough to the traveler seeking a true Italian hospitality experience. Thank you.
- Excellent redo of an old palazzo. Many original features combined with modern touches. We enjoyed a really nice bathroom with two sinks and good shower in our Superior class room. A highly rated restaurant with a creative chef's tasting menu made our stay (2 nights) very memorable! We certainly will be returning for another visit.
Cons -
- We were not told when we booked that the main stage for the rock concert over the weekend would be about 20 steps from our room. Music went until 2 am.Staff were good and did not hold us to our second night reservation. We paid for our one noisy night and moved on.
- Would be nice if our room had some darking curtains or shutters that could be completely closed. The morning sun came in very early.
- Very little not to like, but it would have been nice if the hotel had a bar where you could go for a quiet drink

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the suggestions to go to Castelluccio and the monk chanting prayers
Elegant relaxed gorgeous and so central. Great little spa, wonderful breakfast and the feeling of living comfortably in a gorgeous stone palazzo- unforgettable.
I loved the classic style and charm of the hotel. There were lovely quiet areas to sit and relax, including the wonderful library. The views from the hotel are stunning and yet it is so accessible to the village, where you can wander to find some excellent food and drinks.
Very little not to like, but it would have been nice if the hotel had a bar where you could go for a quiet drink
Exceptional hospitality and helpfulness by all people working at the hotel; both at the reception and in the restaurant. Additional, the quality of the rooms, the additional rooms to read a book or even do a conference call in all quietness: all creates the atmosphere for the wonderful stay that we have had at Palazzo Seneca.
Exceptional dining. Dinner at Vespasia a wonderful experience. Wonderful breakfast. Exceptional staff. Norcia a friendly pretty town in beautiful area despite a lot of earthquake reconstruction
The old world minimalist decor made for a coldness
Everything about Palazzo Seneca is wonderful -- the place, the room, the staff, the dinner and breakfast. It was even better than we had hoped. Thank you!
We loved everything.
Central location, nice room, good breakfast, staff was very attentive and forthcoming. Norcia's a great place to explore the beautiful Monti Sibillini National Park.
Staff, location, food and it was all great.
Nothing it was all great.
Very friendly staff, good table service Large clean room, good showerGood breakfast and tea and biscuits left out
TV not a smart TV
excellent staff, peaceful location, great breakfast and fabulous meal at restaurant
in the room where I stayed bathroom area was very smallstorage for clothes not adequate
This is a dream hotel in a recovering but still beautiful city and a sublime part of Italy. From the check-in to check-out we were very happy: rooms are great, bathrooms superb, and the food/spa/staff could not have been improved
Nothing, I just wish Norcia's recovery from the earthquake would go faster...one can tell this is a proud land still putting on a good face after a Biblically bad catastrophe.
This place is amazing!! Everything about it - the facilities, the rooms, the common areas, the breakfast, the spa (which you can book for free for an hour) and of course the restaurant!! The team was so nice and dedicated to make us have the best time and the town is beautiful! I will definitely go back again!
Lovely, historic hotel, superb staff and excellent restaurant.
air con noisy but that’s being picky
Location very good. The breakfast was plentiful and very tasty.
We had hoped for a room with a view but when we were shown this it was much smaller than the room without a view, so we did not change.
everything was great…place, food. You can also rent electric bicycle and took a route map. the girl atreception so friendly and answers any questions!
the cleaning staff is so loud. talk and laugh all time. it was really disturbing
The palace is beautiful, especially the common areas, very tasty breakfast with fresh local products, inside there's the 1 star michelin restaurant which is a great plus. Staff very kind and friendly. Super clean. Easy to park nearby in the very center of the town. Great communication ahead of the check-in.
The room balcony was very tiny and closed, very small Spa and a little outdoor space. Bed was quite comfortable, no smart TV.
Surrounding countryside.
.The town is in full repair mode. Delayed manyYears. Most buildings are a work site. Dusty and dirty.
