About
Poggio Piglia is a unique property in the hamlet of Macciano in the Tuscan countryside. It offers extensive grounds with a swimming pool overlooking the surrounding valleys. Rooms at Poggio Piglia all have wood-beamed ceilings, natural stone walls and hardwood floors. They are all air conditioned and feature a large bathroom with glass-enclosed shower. Guests can sample homemade products and organic olive oil at the snack bar, while the restaurant is open upon request. Piglia has convenient access to the region via highway A1. It is 2.5 miles from the Umbrian border and a 10 minute drive from Chianciano Terme.
