- Info at the beginning that we have to pay extra 35EUR per day for the umbrella with 2seats, because we booked over Booking.com and not over the Hotel website.
- Bed was very uncomfortable and I had a backache and backache for a couple of days.
- I needed to update this review: I tried to come back to the hotel, but I was rejected in a rude way from receptionist,and even loosing the money for a date change. The Hotel staff refused to talk over the phone many times, and reacted in a very unfriendly way. I believe they love catch your money w/o giving you the service. So beware and stay away: I tried in a nice and friendly ways, but was treated very bad together with booking.com help desk coworkers. As a long years user of Booking.com portal, something like this never happened to me.I hope this will help other users not to fall into this trap. And luckily enough there is enough competition in the same location.My previous review : Breakfast is too late 7:30 ? i would improve quality , i asked for a boiled egg, and the only offered scrambled ones…? it is like in any other italian hotel : cheap orange juice but nice home made cakes. No prosciutto crudo at all ?

Absolute dissapointment and dissatisfaction! The worst 6 nights in Italy ever. Beach not good for swimming, extremely muddy and dirty. We used to go 500m further to public beaches, where the beach was great for children and swimming.Breakfasts - everyday empty trays that were supposted to contain food (hams or cheese). There were 3 kinds of cereal available, but no milk. If we wanted to get glasses for water or cutlery we had to search drawers and cupboards ourselves. So if we wanted to actually consume anything, we had to go to a bakery or a nearby market. Air conditioning extremely loud. I really mean extremely loud. It turns on and off every 3 minutes. You can choose either sleepless night with the AC on, or silence and sauna in the room. Don't recommend for anyone.
The staff was very helpful and kind. We ended up going to a different Stella Marina in Cecina di Mare instead of San Vincenzo, so that delayed our check in time but they were kind and waited for us. The room were clean, is very close to a walking area with everything available and everyone stays late there so it was a great choice.
We had 3 rooms and 2 rooms had a great sea view, mine didn’t but not a big deal.
