After 60 years, the La Coccinella hotel has transformed into a Residence. The Michelotti-Galigani family will be happy to welcome old and new customers in this different adventure. Please note that the beach service is available from the end of May to the end of September. Exact dates may vary depending on weather conditions. Forget your car and enjoy a totally relaxing stay at the Coccinella Residence, located in a green residential area of San Vincenzo, a few steps from its private beach, on the coast recognized with the Blue Flag. Comfort and practicality were the subject of our choices. Each apartment is equipped with: induction burners, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine (capsules), 2 balconies, 2 TVs (living room and bedroom), independent air conditioning, paddle fans, safe. Each apartment has a reserved car park inside the structure (only for guests of the residence). There is a swimming pool, gazebo and coin-operated laundry room available. This property is a self catering property. La Coccinella Residence is close to the Rimigliano Natural Park, the Baratti-Populonia Archaeological Park, the Venturina Terme Spa and the production areas of great wines, such as Sassicaia and Ornellaia di Bolgheri. You can spend a peaceful holiday lying by the pool or sunbathing on the beach where you will have umbrellas and sunbeds at your disposal. Since 1964, the family business has also been concerned about the environment, having installed solar panels for the production of hot water since 1985.

- Industrial revolution has never met with the managers. Staff is rude. They can't understand that boiling eggs yourself takes roughly 12 minutes. With just a few boiling spots and 20 tables people will never manage to eat one boiled egg. Suggested some improvements and was met with we dont care we are a small hotel and have always done it. Respectful but 30 years later you can do your best to improve.

- There was some noise from rooms above my room during the night. But it was bearable.

Nice location near the beach in a green, residential area with old trees. The hotel is very clean, has good beds, a beautiful breakfast terrace and a lovely garden with a small pool. The hotel has its own private beach area which can be reached on foot in two minutes. The beach is very clean. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast good.
There was some noise from rooms above my room during the night. But it was bearable.
The location is fabulous being very close to the beach with the sun lounges and umbrella included.. The pool is excellent too-salt water.San Vincenzo is about a 15 minute walk for shopping- lovely shops and restaurants. There is also a very good restaurant filled with locals just across the road.Parking is easy and everything for a super stay has been thought of. Loved the breakfast too.
The staff were lovely and were really happy to offer their advice on where to visit in the local area.The breakfast was really tasty with good quality and lots of variety It was extremely clean and there was always someone at reception to greet you.It was fantastic to have access to the private beach as some parts of the coastline are difficult to visit otherwise.
There were no laundry facilities. It would have been nice to be have been able to pay for this service rather than visiting a laundrette in town.
Honest accommodation with a few nice bonuses: very close to the sea, breakfast included, private beach with sunbeds included, nice pool, cozy porch. Genuine and very polite hosts. I wish the "albergo" a very long life.
