    Pros +

    • A beautiful historic building with beautifully maintained gardens and artwork throughout. The staff is very friendly and solves all problems, yet they have the ability to make you feel like you're not around them, giving you the feeling of being in your own home.
    • Great location by the beach but still private & lots of trees.
    • The location is stunning and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast next to the pool was excellent. The pool is clean and refreshing and it is convenient to have a pool bar. Our room had a comfortable bed and was very clean. The sheets and towels were changed daily. It is a perfect place to relax and explore.

    Cons -

    • Nothing not to like
    • The restaurant in the evening was not open but there were many other restaurants nearby.
    • Rooms are in dire need of renovation and feel outdated. The high price doesn’t match the quality, especially when they charge extra for basics like omelets and fried eggs at breakfast. For the cost, I expected much better.

This hotel offers a delightful stay with its beautifully maintained garden and refreshing pool. The charm of the historic building adds a unique ambiance, making it a perfect retreat.

Breakfast by the pool was excellent, the only reason I didn’t give a rating of 10 was because the restaurant was closed

Could have been told the restaurant was closed before we booked and not after

The breakfast buffet in front of the pool was incredible.Everyone on the staff was absolutely wonderful - helpful and accommodating beyond the usual standard. It was the best pet friendly place we have ever been to. We had our dog (a flat coated retriever) with us. Everyone loved her.

    Swimming pool.

The hotel is old and needs renovation.Ants are everywhere - even under the bed.The small of humidity is total. The water system is old.Three is very loud because of festives and amusement park .

Property was great.Rooms a bit basic but very comfortable.Staff were lovely - particularly Wonda

When you arrive they take €200. When you settle the bill they don’t deduct the €200 they took from the bill. They retain that and say they will return that on 1-3 days. For people who are budgeting their foreign currency and potentially need that €200 to pay a taxi back to the airport or similar they might not have the spare cash to afford not getting this €200 euros back on leaving. I’ve never seen this in all my days or holiday travels and I think it’s wrong.

It was right next to the concert park, which is why we chose the hotel; we were attending a concert there. Beautiful Villa, small hotel, easy parking. Reception area tastefully decorated, suggestive window onto front garden. We were happy to listen to the jamming session going on in the concert venue, but perhaps not to everyones liking. We enjoyed our stay thanks to the amazing concert we attended.

I prefer to focus on the postive, and therefore very very rarely write about a negative hotel experience, but this cannot go unsaid. We were unfortunately greeted by a receptionist who was immediately disconcerted by my demur on being asked to put a 200 euro hold on my credit card, for eventual unpaid services, although the entire cost of the room had already been paid in advance (380 for one night). I think the last time I had such an experience was 1996 - so almost 30 years ago, The room we were assigned was a box room, matching the size indicated and pictures of the single room (approx 11m2), although we booked a classic double room, but it should have, according to the description been considerably more spacious. It was on the first floor, in a corner. The decor was low-cost vintage (baroque/victorian) imitation. As we had not had a good reception, due the surly gentleman at the reception and we were celebrating my husbands birthday, I decided not to return down and risk ruining our evening together completely!

We have been accomodated in a room which much better than we booked without additional payment! Many thanks to staff for this. Very friendly staff! Great location, very beautiful and clean room, comfortable bed, amazing garden on territory

De rooms were suburb, and the location was also very nice! The hotel had a characteristic look and feel with very helpful staff.

We liked everything except for the connecting doors. Wonderful staff, clean, cosy and stylish hotel. Super wide bed, comfortable mattress, rich and diverse breakfast.

Unfortunately our room had two connecting doors (and plus one entrance of course :)) that were not blocking any sounds, felt like we were sharing the same room with two other couples nextdoor.

I love this place including everything. Close to beach, perfect for running and walking. Breakfast are amazing so hope see you soon:-)

    nothing, everything was great

The room was enormous and very clean. We enjoyed very much the continental breakfast.

    10BarbaraPosted on: 9-23-2023

Room, breakfast, pool area, bar, plus staff were very friendly.

Access to the beach was very restricted. We were disappointed to find out payment was required to enjoy the beach. We are happy to hire sun beds, but not at the prices charged at the beach clubs.

Beautiful territory. Quick check-in, attentive reception staff.

We paid more than 1000 euros per day for the room 1) we were disappointed with the puny breakfasts. There were no vegetables, no fish., no choise. Cheese peelings were sparingly laid out on a platter, but still could not cover even a tenth % of service plate fot cheese. . The coffee machine took care of our health and give only a 1/3 of a cup. In fairness, I note that scrambled eggs, juice, waffles were offered to pay extra, an average of 10 euros.. (we paid1000 per day) We they considered that it was expensive for us and refused on principle. Hot water and tea bags were also missing, and also there were problems with tea in the room. There was a kettle in the room, but we didn't use the only bottle of free water and a lone tea bag. 2) The gym does not correspond to the level of the hotel 3*.. Rare jym equipments are touched by rust and decay in previouse era. . The bench press rack is dangerous for life. . Etc.... Air conditioners sounds like a faulty electro transformer. Dust, dirt, cockroach traps with insect corpses are everywhere. We asked to make up but nothing changed the next day. There is no water cooler in the gym

The room was very clean and comfortable with a balcony. The staff were very helpful. The outdoor bar was a nice place to get a drink and snacks

The swimming pool had quite a lot of loose tiles and there were also missing tiles

We really liked the room, the park and the swimming pool
