    Pros +

    • Location - short walk (15min) through park to old town. Breakfast was good. Bedroom adequate with hanging space, tv and tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom also ok.
    • The value for the money was very good. We were near a beautiful park, it was easy to walk to the old city and to the train station. There was enough extra room to exercise. Everything was clean. Breakfast was very good, and cost less than other hotels. The manager was friendly and gave good service. We would stay there again.
    • Nice bed, good quality clean cotton bed linen. Air conditioning worked well. The instructions were given in both French and Spanish. (Despite being English, I understand both).

    Cons -

    • Checkin was supposed to be open from 4pm but was shut. Had to phone to get access code for side entrance. Not great after a long drive. Checkin “exceptionally closed” both days we were there. Decking at front of hotel was broken. Stairs were rather claustrophobic. Only saw one staff member.
    • The Wi-Fi was almost impossible to connect. And the walls were thin; we could hear all the conversations next door.
    • No one to let us in. Having to look up an email for entry instructions adds to the stress. Then, when I found the instructions I discovered we had been allocated just one room, despite having booked and paid for two. So then I looked for the contact telephone number to ask for the second room. The phone number did not include the international code for France. So a little more stress to Google that. Finally, we were allocated a second room. Next, the bathroom light was faulty, and the laminate flooring in poor condition. The window was in the ceiling and out of reach to open or pull a blind. And perhaps the worst point was the front door keys were almost impossible to use. Their fit in the lock was very poor. My 80 year old sister could not open it at all, and was forced to sit on the doorstep until I returned.

The hotel is quiet and located outside the town centre which was fine for us as the walk in took only about 12 minutes. The facilities are those of a two star hotel. Breakfast was offered for an additional cost but it seemed expensive for what it was so we went to a cafe nearby. We found parking on the side street so that was easy. Overall it met our needs for an overnight stay.

Great location, good size room, very comfortable beds, air condition and fridge work perfect (no noise). We were only one night in Albi but if we come again, I would definitely book the same hotel.

Clean. Within walking distance of town and tourist attractions. Room was quite hot as we couldn't adjust the air-conditioning

The location is great: just between the Albi Ville station and the city center, really quiet area and there is a beautiful park just in front. The staff is really friendly and flexible, we even got some french pastry in the morning. The rooms are perfect for the heatwave: fresh and great AC

We booked a room for one night only, despite this we were welcome by amazing owner who gave us all necessary information and guide us to our bedroom. The access to the hotel at late night was easy, as well as to park our vehicle nearby. We will choose this hotel next time without a doubt.

The gentleman at reception is very polite , friendly and helpful. He was kind enough to accommodate our last minute changes in plan ,as weather in Albi made us to alter our check out timing.Location of hotel makes everything so approachable.
