Hotel Pacific

Very kind hostess, we were there in the winter, she made sure the room was warm before we came. She explained what more there is to do in the region. Definitely a place i would like to come back to in the summer when the swimmingpool is open!

I travelled with a small baby and the host did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The place has no stairs so it is easy to move around with a stroller. It is so compact, that you can easily leave the children to sleep and go have dinner by the pool. The rooms are big and in a separate building by the poolside so you feel like in a 70ies Florida hotel. The pool is obviously fabulous. There are many exotic plants in the garden, so you even get a feeling of being in Bali a bit. The main building is very close to a busy road but surprisingly you don't hear anything once you are inside. All the facilities face away from the road and I got a very good nights sleep. The breakfast is handmade and very personal. She picks up bread every morning from the local pastry and makes eggs the way you like them. You can also order dinner which is home made and fantastic (had steak and salmon). Don't expect your usual 5 star hotel experience but expect to feel like at home if your home was on an exotic island and your grandmother the wonderful woman Linda is. Will be going back for sure!

Amazing little gem of a guest house/hotel. Owner and staff... especially katrina ? were so accommodating and friendly. Lovely building and lots of character. Spacious room.Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Swimming pool/parking and some delicious home cooked fresh food served in the restaurant. Highly recommend.??

it reminds of an old fashioned beach side resort. the pool was very clean. the restaurant area was lovely, but no kitchen open when we visited.

be aware that pictures on the web give a wrong impression. Pretty run down place and the breakfast is a big rip off (20 Eur extra)

We stayed for one night in this family-owned cosy hotel, that we chose mainly because it had a swimming pool for the children. We got a huge, clean, nice family room (with 4 single beds you can move around as needed) and immediate access to the swimming pool, which was top notch (especially after driving in the August heatwave!). At night there was not a single noise, we could really relax and we all slept well. The shower room was fantastic and had been recently renovated by the looks of it. There are several restaurants in the area, and Turnhout is a short drive away.The owner is super friendly and accommodating, and we also liked the breakfast (freshly baked bread and croissants from the local bakery!) Overall a great experience at a very competitive price.

Nothing, it was all great!

If any hotel in Belgium deserves the name "Hotel Pacific" it is this one. We used to live in Costa Rica and vaccationed regularly in the many, small, family run hotels along the Pacific coast. You will find a private atmosphere, pleasant outdoors, simple rooms near the pool, and an atmosphere that exudes relaxation. Flip flops are a must. During the 24 hours we stayed there, my son and I did not leave the garden by the pool. But if you are looking for a clean shaved appearance, cocktails, and updated amenities this might not be your place.

Cleanliness was a bit of an issue, especially in the bathroom. I found a bandage next to the sink and the additional toilet brush holder needs to be replaced asap.
