Fantastic location, friendly staff, lovely pool and outside area

Nothing, it was lovely. Basic rooms but clean and comfortable.

The villa is amazing, arranged in a very cosy and charming yet simple style, lovely common space inside and large garden outside, and the restaurant/breakfast area. Heated pool in the garden. Direct access to the coast. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. It would be nice to have a kettle there.The breakfast buffet had a variety of options, sweet and salty, warm and cold, all fresh and tasty, worth the money.

Breakfast is delicious but overpriced. We would have ordered breakfast every day if it was a bit cheaper. No fridge in the room.

Everyone was friendly and the room and bathroom kept very clean. A great place to stay for all the activities we wanted to do it the area.

Our room had a large comfortable bed and lovely views across to the sandy bays. Eating breakfast outside was a delight, on the terrace by the beautifully designed pool surrounded by greenery and with views over the harbour.. Everything is beautifully maintained.. A perfect base for exploring the mountains and many lovely beaches.

The staff were really helpful and tried hard to sort out a problem we had with our " booked" room. The breakfast was the best ?. The pool area and patio were good with lovely view from infinity pool and not too busy.

Don't book the "apartment" ! Not really part of the hotel, it's in a swamp area. We had to change this for a room in the main house which was much better. Would have liked tea & coffee making facilities in the room.

This is a lovely hotel with excellent facilities, including a beautiful infinity pool and a ping pong table. Very helpful, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast buffet. Room was very clean too.

Not much to dislike about this place.

Very good location close to the beach, the port, restaurants and of course the spectacular Vallée de la Solenzara. Good buffet breakfast for a fee, nice terrace and pool.

The room was rather small and basic.

Beautiful pool and setting. Very nice grounds. Parking was easy. Reception was open longer then listed on booking. Easy walk to the harbor and very close to very nice beaches with free parking.

Wifi is only available in the reception area.

We loved the pool and the amazing views. Great choice of super quality produce for breakfast. Our room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable and quiet.

The internet was a bit hit and miss.

A place to avoid

Incredible inappropriate communication from the two hotel owners. Verbal violence and insult. For a silly reason: I ate a sandwich I bought outside their place on a table of the hotel garden (and this is forbidden by the owners). I dared to challenge this policy: we are guests of the hotel, and we cannot use the facility? As a response they immediately skyrocketed into insulting us, using the f word. My partner and I were in shock and we had to leave earlier than anticipated (actually the owners kicked us out!). Nothing can justify such verbal abuse, and unfortunately this left us with a bitter taste for our whole Corsica stay. We also had to absorb 100% of the cost of the extra night we paid even though we weren't allowed to stay. Genuinely wondering how the two owners can be so comfortable insulting and kicking guests out. Are they doing this regularly?Anyway, avoid this place if you can or good luck if you have to stay there.

The style of the hotel is very charming, like an old hotel well loved. The pool is beautiful. There is a lovely stroll to the port near the marshes. The room was clean and stylishly furnished. The best part is the staff. The lovely lady who welcomed us for our one night stay took a lot of time to share her recommendations for restaurants and places to see nearby. We were off the next morning to drive into the mountains well rested and happy. Merci

great pool. great breakfast. bit noisy because of road. staff very kind. beds are rather small.

The breakfast was excellent, a great choice of cooked breakfast, pastries/croissants, cold meats/cheeses and fruit and great coffee too! We looked forward to the breakfast every day! The breakfast set us up for the day and we didn't need a lunch. The room was spacious, comfortable and charming. The hotel itself is also very charming and the staff always friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool but we spent most of our days on the local sandy beach which is only a few minutes walk - the sea and river/lake water were beautifully warm and clean and the backdrop of the mountains inland is stunning. Just a wonderful place to be. Thoroughly recommend the hotel and the beach!

Nothing really, the only thing I can think of - the wasps were a bit of nuisance, they were ever present as we eat breakfast outside each morning. But they are everywhere and part of summer and I'd rather have them there, buzzing around, and know nature is flourishing rather than some device that killed them all.
