Beautiful views and free breakfast was great as price was not cheap . The pool was warm and seating very comfortable. Short walk to town which was wonderful

Property could use some TLC. A tad dated and run down . A little understaffed .

The view is spectacular!!

The place we stayed required climbing steep stairs and the room was an outdated motel type room not worthy of 1 star, let alone 3. The dining area was elegant and beautiful with sweeping views and the pool was nice but not heated.

A lovely hotel with a great view across the bay. It is located at the end of the village but the village can be reached by foot within 5 minutes. Good breakfast

Everything was perfect.

The room had two balconies with superb view and seating areas. Absolutely fantastic although exposed North and subject to cold wind.The bathroom had a large bath and felt really luxurious.Breakfast was served in a fabulous room with a view. I also like that there were white table cloths on the tables at breakfast.The hotel was immaculate (really clean).The staff were welcoming and attentive.The location of the hotel is great to explore the area.

The hotel has a restaurant with a fixed dinner menu of 60 euros per person which was far too expensive for us and it did not have any vegetarian options. Thankfully there were restaurants in Piana within 800m (walking distance) of the hotel.

Not enough comfortable sun loungers by the pool.

Restaurant staff was exceptional. Food good not great. Facilities a bit dated with old motel hallways and older bathrooms, for example. Still, view was fantastic and hotel made for a nice landing spot for the next day’s boat ride to Scandola and the Calanches! Just a bit expensive for what it was.

The location was lovely. The restaurant for dinner was very good.

The terrible smell of drains in the room during the night. The lack of any apology from the member of staff when it was mentioned. We suspect they knew of this problem previously. A more minor niggle - shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold.

It’s location with the view was stunning and the on site restaurant for breakfast and an evening meal was also good.

Some of the room amenities are starting to look a little tired. Need updating especially given the price you are paying.

Spectacular views from our room - which was a ground floor level. The accommodation buildings are in an older motel style format, which are very clean and very comfortable beds, with each having a little balcony at the front with table and chairs to enjoy the view. Easy access/ parking. Pool area also has beautiful views across the Calanques. The main dining area is quite spectacular with a retro luxury fitout. A very easy walk into town. We ate dinner out in the village each night. Good breakfast available at hotel. Staff helpful. There are limited accommodation options in this small town and this hotel is a great base from which to explore this very beautiful part of the world.

Spacious room. Balkony with the best view you can imagine.Coffee and thea facilities in the room. Enough free parking spaces around the hotel.

Restaurant closed at 8pm which is quite early for French standards.

It is an old hotel that needs a general refurbishment to justify the room rate and the location/view.Prices in the restaurant were a bit on the high side.

The location is fantastic. Absolute wonderful sea view on capo Rosso. The beach at Arione is a sand beach, really great

My panoramic room had direct view to a vista point right in front of the hotel.. Therefore an ongoing arriving and departing of all kinds of vehicules (cars, motorbibes, busses) happened. Annoying and loud.

The location in Piana and on the gulf of Porto is simply stunning. The views from the terrace and room of La Scandola are insane. The food in the restaurant was very good, both dinner and breakfast.

The hotel is very sterile, soulless and 'cold', this includes the dining room where the lighting is far too bright. The staff were mixed, some were wonderful but some couldn't care less and would rather go somewhere quiet and have a fag... Have someone on reception who can smile, have a barman who is present during cocktail hour and who you don't have to chase to get a drink, that sort of stuff. Another disappointment was just how they managed the room. One day they forgot to replace the toilet paper, the next there was no coffee nor milk, they forgot to empty the bins, the bed was not made properly. Little details that are not hard to address (if one cared) but that do make a difference to one's stay.
