Pros +
- Easy walk into the town centre, private parking and early breakfast, very good.
- I stayed at the Ibis Agen at the last minute due to missed train connection. Booked at the last minute and everything was fine. Comfy bed, friendly staff, good location I picked it for its generous check-in and check-out times (2pm to noon). Other places had like 5pm to 10am. I had to work a bit and it was nice that there was a proper desk in the room and good wifi.
- I appea as no show because parking inadequate and not properly described on website and Booking.com
Cons -
- I had a bit of trouble controlling the room temperature (which was a bit hot, but I just opened the window). The room was fairly quiet apart from towards the corridor, could be a bit better soundproofed.
- turned up in good time in a vehicle 1.93m high. no possibility of stopping at the main entrance as a narrow street and no pull-off. saw the sign for parking and followed it, only to find it was an underground car park with a height restriction of 1.8m!!! I was annoyed and ther was nowhere to park-up and speak to the hotel directly. Telephone calls go to a central reservation system. The hotel website shows outside parking and, nowhere mentions an-underground garage with a height restiction. Nothing in the Q&A on Booking.com. I forfeited the rervation cost as I could not risk my vehicle being broken into. I went to a Capenile who have outdoor parking. Accor spend too much effort on glossy marketing and don't provide sufficient basic info for bookers and don't respond properly to questions.
- Location - extremely difficult to find down a labyrinth of one way and closed streetsUnderstaffed and therefore overpriced

harassed sole member of staff was very helpful

Breakfast excellent. Car park ok. Bed good. Staff pleasant
No restaurant.Pillows poor
Clean and comfortable with super friendly staff.
Great reception staff. Great location. Very quiet at night.
The hotel needs a make-over. Corridors and rooms look very worn.
Good value. Secure car park. Breakfast was very good value .
Access to car park was very tight & temporarily surrounded by scaffolding which made it difficult to drive in , however the car park was spacious .Decor was a bit jaded and needed to be refurbished.
Can not be an ACCOR hotel
The room is dated, lobby ok, elevator very dirty and staff deserves training. Poor lady at the front desk was left alone and did not have the right and proper training. She was lovely and deserves a proper training.
Very convenient location, and secure parking was excellent.
I think the air conditioning wasn't working properly in our room. It was very chilled when we arrived but seemed to get hotter overnight and the wall control made no difference.
They allowed us to checkout after 1 night without a penalty for 2nd night booked
Website is misleading Lobby has been refurbished. Rooms haven’t. Staff confirmed picture online were not of actualRooms Ordered a glass of wine from bar - no wine glasses !!!
Location, parking
Very tired property, rooms were not clean, holes in the curtains, TV falling off the wall, paint peeling everywhere.
The beds are comfortable. The location is good very close to the city centre.
Dated hotel not of the standing we are used with Ibis chains of hotels.
The lady on reception at check-in was absolutely lovely. The room was clean. The bathtub was a pleasant surprise.
The room was extremely small, very basic and overpriced. One side of the double bed was pushed up against the wall, so my husband and I had to climb over each other to get in or out of the bed.The other guests on our floor were very noisy and we could hear them late into the night.
Location. Parking. Friendly helpful staff. Room had a bath!!! Beautiful town.
Friendly staff, garage for parking at a very fair rate, check out possible until noon
WLAN did not work properly in the room, had to go down to lobby, room was very small and very old bathroom
Friendly staff. clean beds.good location.
Furniture is a bit run down. Lot of damaged pieces, paint flaking off. Heating system making an awful lot of noise.
Good selection at breakfast. Room quiet Well located for city centre and rail station
Room a bit small but ok for one night. Also a bit too warm but others might find the temperatuie ok
Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Excellent location. Good value for money. Easy parking.
To me, most Ibis are efficient, soulless and functional. This one manages not to be: it’s fairly small, seems well-run, desk staff friendly and very helpful. Most of all, it has a superb location: ideal base for strolling round a delightful town, and a short walk from the station.
Nothing really.
