Offering panoramic views of the Pitztal Glacier, the Hotel Gletscherblick is located 984 feet from the glacier cable car and offers a modern spa area. Each of the spacious rooms has a private balcony and a satellite TV. Wi-Fi internet access is available in the entire building. The hotel is located between Mandarfen and Mittelberg at 5577 feet above sea level. You can ski right down to its front door from the glacier or the Rifflsee ski areas. The Rifflsee cable car is about 1969 feet away and the cross-country skiing track passes right next to the hotel. Tasty Austrian cuisine and Tyrolean specialties are served in the Alpine-style restaurant. After a day out in the mountains, you can relax in the lounge with an open fireplace or in the spa area, featuring a steam bath, a hot tub and 2 saunas.

- Few outlets. There are some on one side of the bed and none on the other. None in the bathroom. There's none by the sofa by the table. You can't bring an extension cord to a 4-star hotel, can you?Luggage on the trolley is inconvenient, everywhere thresholds without bevelling. It's dangerous to go down to the ski room, it's concrete and ice. It would be possible to throw at least a rubber cover or throw wooden pallets.There is no tea in the afternoon tea, you have to order it for a fee, which is very strange. The food is tasty, but somehow too much potatoes. Almost all the side dishes for dinner are potatoes.
- The room furniture, bathroom, toilet and other equipment was very outdated and vacated, the spa facilities as well, not relevant to 4* hotel. We had problem wit the overheated rooms with no possibility to regulate the temperature, which result to the very dry conditions, not suitable for comfortable sleeping. Breakfast was les than average, dinner as well.

The friendly staff, beautiful location and amazing dinner service
Location was fine, we decided the hotel for to be close to the skilift.
The room furniture, bathroom, toilet and other equipment was very outdated and vacated, the spa facilities as well, not relevant to 4* hotel. Nice place run by the family. Very friendly staff, very good dinner and nice sauna. The place is close to ski lifts.

Dinner was fantastic and exceeded my expectations. Rooms had balconies with views over the river and the mountains. Quiet location, but directly across from a bus stop (the bus stop is literally named Hotel Gletscherblick GH and has hourly buses up and down the valley).
Food options would have been tough for vegans (but that's true of all of Austria)
Dinner was excellent.....perfect for a relaxing week long stay.
