Pros +
- There is nothing likable about this property unless you are so old and frail to the extent that you are. Unable to voice how truly horrible it is.
- The room is clean, staff is kind and the parking is convenient. Very good price/value ratio.
- Helpful staff and good reach to the beach. Air conditioner.
Cons -
- It is a nursing home: LITERALLY. The management should explain before booking the requirement to tolerate atrocious facilities and conditions of this stay. Filthy sheets, disgusting bath, the dining room filled with dirty tables and no breakfast during the hours described.
- The room furniture is a bit old. No AC but a fan is provided.
- Menu was not for foreign visitors, only on Italians. So for the Italians ok, but not for other visitors. The food was not good, cheap and for old people. We arrived 30 minutes before the breakfast time was finished, there was no food left and the staff very offended sad there is no more food and it is that way. Neither a cup of coffee did we get for the payed money. Very disappointed.

The lobby and restaurant were spacious and tastefully decorated. Their staff was professional and well mannered 2 out of 3 spoke English during check in. The Restaurant serves a fix price preset menu for lunch and dinner drinks and coffee are extra but priced correctly (for Hotel customers only). We were not disappointed both lunch and dinner were delicious. They have an Excellent Chef who also spoke English and their kitchen staff was efficient and well trained. Breakfast was self-serve, fully stocked (European style). They also have a large covered outdoor patio and an expansive courtyard. The building we were staying at was accessible through an elevator in the main lobby. It is an old brick building, but well preserved and possibly still a vocational school, so the look is minimalist (picture a small classroom with a double bed, small desk, wardrobe and bathroom) but clean and perfect to sleep if you are enjoying the outdoors all day. There was no A/C in the room but we were expecting that (we are Americans that have lived and travel Europe). We opened the windows and thankfully it was a cool summer night. The town quiets down shortly after midnight so we had a restful sleep.
What I did not like was mostly out of their control, as there was only me waiting to check out, but perhaps another staff during check out time? The issue: I waited 25 minutes in line due to another customer triple checking their bill. I saw how patient and professional the lady on staff was, carefully explaining the bill and going over the charges several times, but I was not in a rush. At the end the lady paid was she was told she owed. And I went on to enjoy the rest of my vacation!
Pleasant stay with all we needed: comfy bed, bathroom, airco, great breakfast, close to the beach and kind staff for a reasonable price.
