Pros +
- Nice and friendly staff (especially Stephanie, all the waiters/waitresses and the spa staff), clean, quiet and light room
- My daughter of 10 and I had a fantastic stay at La Robeyère. The room was not huge but cosy, stylish and well-equipped. We loved the common spaces, the setting and the spa. It felt like real luxury. And we managed to get there from Brussels using only the train, which makes it a sustainable property for who wants to avoid the car.
- Excellent: Location, vue, quiet.
Cons -
- First evening the dinner service was extremely long (after 2 hrs we received the appetizer and main course only) despite of arriving as first guests to the restaurant. The Director of the restaurant did not even apologize when we commented this and asked for the dessert to be delivered to our room. This was a bit disappointing..
- There can be quite a lot of wasps at breakfast. The hotel probably can't do a lot about this without spraying chemicals.
- Would have loved if the restaurant would have been open for lunch!

Would have loved if the restaurant would have been open for lunch!
Very nice staff, so thanks to Yann and the team. Terrace breakfast (20 euro each though) was very scenic. Spa good in places (like the outdoor wooden tub) but also flawed. Free and plentiful parking. Nice building. Room nicely decorated. Aircon in room welcome.
Room tiny and at the limit of what is usable for a couple. Sauna too cold (around 60C) so almost useless, pool small. 15 mins walk to town.
The grounds are fantastic, the spa was a great way to end the day!
Rooms are small, but furnished nicely
Beautiful setting, with terraced restaurant, all very classy in a positive way. Dinner and breakfast were very nice. Above all, the staff were outstandingly nice and caring.
Beautiful location and hotel. Lovely sauna in the garden overlooking alps. Beautiful town.
Beautifully locatedNice decor and ambiance The terrace dining view is spectacular It was upmarket without being stuffyThe food was good
The few little ants scurrying around in my shower tray If you were fattish, you’d struggle to get in the shower because the space is tight between shower door and the sink.
Location and grounds were beautiful.
For the deluxe room price , I expected our room to have a great view of the valley. I was very disappointed and would have stayed at a different hotel had I known as having a view is important to us. There was additional cost to use the pool and spa.
Bed was so so, didn't try breakfast or dinner, the view was great but that's not too hard in this area.Semi private terrace was nice to lounge, in rain and sun.
Very disappointed with our stay. The old building makes it very easy to hear noise, for example someone using the toilet in the room next to you. On our first stay we couldn't sleep well because of whiny dogs in another room. I'm not against a hotel being dog friendly but if your hotel is not very soundproof maybe you should reconsider.. On the second stay we had a 'drivers club' partying (often shouting loudly) till late in one of the rooms directly above us. Other guests asked them to be quieter to which, after arguing, they responded by closing the windows. Sadly that didn't save us from the noise.. There is noone at reception during nighttime. On top of that around 200,- a night for a room without any windows to open at night (no airconditioning either, but that was clear at the time of booking). Yes, there was a terrace door but it doesn't feel safe to leave that open at night since anyone could then acces your room. There's some mold in the shower. The hotel prides itself in 'being green', but housekeeping does not act accordingly to the instructions regarding that policy. Very unclear what the system is there, one day we returned to our room to find one towel taken from a hook (which should indicate "i'll use it again"), no clean towel had been put in it's place. Another used towel was still were we left it, on the hook next to the other.Room also advertised with a safety deposit box, not there. Misleading photograph sequencing regarding the room type on booking.com. At checkout nobody bothered to ask how our stay had been.
The rooms were spacious and well equipped (but choose a "king size" room). The staff were charming and the view of the surrounding mountains was superb. The best surprise was the food. Dinner was imaginative with a good choice and perfectly cooked and presented. Breakfast was excellent with a good buffet, fresh squeezed orange juice and eggs cooked to order (e.g. scrambled with smoked salmon or truffles, omelette with herbs or cheese, ............ ).
Feather pillows would have been good - but I know hotels have to be careful about allergies.
Beautiful setting, easy parking, clean and tidy.
The room we stayed in was a bit small. We were there for 1 night any longer would’ve been a problem, it had a small wet room with a curtain for the shower but if your partner wanted to use the toilet, you would have very wet feet…..it didn’t work for us!
Stunning location, peaceful, luxury but not stuffy with such a diverse clientele, great staff and excellent restaurant
Good
the grounds/gardens needed tidying up, weeds everywhere, also rooms were quite small
Pleasant, comfy bed , spa, good breakfast.
Superior room: no fridge, no air con, lighting not good enough, no hooks to hang towels in bathroom
Friendly staff. Nicely decorated and comfortably equipped room (although a bit small for 2). Excellent bed. View is beautiful. Easy access by car.
The room only had a velux window right above the bed, not super convenient.
Very nice little hotel, great location and special thanks to Gian who was awesome and made our stay so special with a great service. ??
Pillow could be better
Stunning location and overall quality! Very friendly staff, very cozy and great food.
Wonderful breakfast! Spotlessly clean, spacious family rooms - kids had their own room and bathroom. Air con for heatwave. Friendly staff 10/10. Big car parking allocation. Bikes could be kept securely indoors. Beautiful location with a view.
The only issue we had was turning in and out of the property by car onto a busy, fast road with a blind (left) corner each day! Tip: We had to turn right, drive to the town roundabout to actually go left, as so dangerous.
The welcome at the reception was like in a 5 star hotel. The additional service of the receptionist was great (delivered iron to our room and put our champagne in a cooler for later on for us). The dinner was magnificent and so was the breakfast, with a really good range of choices. The parking number 2 is great, very secure and with other premium cars around. Check out experience smooth.
The size of the room was shocking. Parts of the hotel were old and neglected. The SPA area is disappointing: the jacuzzi is not a jacuzzi and you need to book the area in advance. The waiter at the bar was either strange or unpolite.
