The Sunnyside Tavern, Broadmeadow

Nice modern recently refurbished room with ensuite and very nice shower which was very big with strong flowing hot water. Staff all very nice from check-in, The cleaner sorted coffee pod machine and we asked for ice for the esky and voila! there it was.

Close to where we need to be

Location

No fridge in the room

Room

No breakfast

Room was very heavily deodorised. Otherwise bed was comfy enough and close enough to the event we we were staying for

It’s in a good location and easy to get to. Quiet and clean. Great pub accomodation.

There are limited parking spots, but nearby streets have free parking so cannot complain.

Small cosy room. Very clean and no problems.

Waiting 1.5 hours for our meal in the bistro.

Stayed here for a work trip and it was great value for the price we paid. It had an old charm to it with updated modern bathrooms. Very comfortable and didn’t have any problems with noise as it being above a pub.

Great staff, clean, large rooms, great location.Unlit stairs to access outside when pub was closed.

The room was very noisy with the sound of cool rooms and air conditioners going all nightThe bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky evertime you moved Overall we did not get to sleep much during the night

We arrived later than we expected. The man helped us with our bags as we had to go up a few short flights of stairs. He was very helpful and friendly. In the morning another man helped us again with our luggage and a staff member offered for us to leave our luggage if we wanted to go for breakfast anywhere. Very nice staff and a nice clean room.

Clean, comfortable & exactly what we needed for our overnight stay..and the location is perfect...walking distance to Newcastle Entertainment Centre & McDonald Jones Stadium..this was our first stay & we have 2 other bookings for events & shows later in the year

Location was fine

Bedding - pillows were like flat sheets, no padding and left us with a terrible nights rest.

Clean and kinda have everything in it. Have share pantry with microwave, kettle, toaster and mini fridge.

Staff just let you by.

Very small don’t have hairdryer and a table that can eat but the stuff here is nice

Table hairdryer

Great front end management staff were very helpful and food was great ?

No fridge in my room

No toaster or kettle in room.. no fridge. Very basic. No shops nearby.

Put a kettle toaster & fridge in the room

Good for overnight stay if you are going to a show at the Newcastle Entertaiment centre.

A kettle in a room to make coffee tea would have been nice instead of walking into the kitchenette - but all good.

Convenient locationCleanCost

It's a shame there aren't mini fridges in the rooms. There is a shared kitchen though

Good location

Poor TV reception and limited channels
