Honeysuckle Executive Apartments

Very clean and quiet apartment in a terrific location right next to the wharf and restaurants. We needed to move from other accommodation in a hurry (dreadful sound proofing and noisy place) and landed here for a few days that was perfect.

The additional fee for parking stung us and should be included in the price.

Dishwasher was broken, had water all over floor when I woke up in morning, oven was malfunctioning - when advised reception nothing more than sorry, noisy taps in bathroom

The spaciousness of the apartment was impressive.

The cleanliness of the apartment was disgusting! First thing noticed was the lack of detail in the cleaning, there were multiple long black hair strands on the bathroom floor (none of my family have black hair), I picked these up multiple times with a paper towel gagging. I also went to put a load of washing on and found a used packet of liquid detergent in the laundry basin, no care taken to dispose of this or wipe down the basin. On further investigation, I noticed black specks in the laundry basin .. as I got closer to it, it smelt like an ash tray! It appears to be ash in the sink, not disinfected or at minimum wiped down. While I was doing that, I noticed someone's high vis work clothes shoved behind the washing machine, which also stunk of cigarettes. Finally, whilst my sheets came untangled in my bed .. couldn't help but notice the blood stains on the duvet. Felt sick that nothing had been cleaned properly, would not stay again - has put us off staying at serviced apartments.

Great location, easy access from train station on the light rail. V comfortable beds and sofas.

Check in was complicated but didn't need to be. Why require an Aussie telephone number - absolutely not necessary when you have an onsite reception. Signage needs to be improved at the entrance.

Good location , easy transport connections in & out, easy tram ride to city centre or beaches, good waliking by the harbour front. room very neat with all the facilities you require for a short or long stay.

$150 bond, say you get back within 48 hrs, still waiting after 3 weeks. construction work going on across the road. trying to find the entrance was a chore, under a different name?

issue finding location. wasn’t signed as Honeysuckle Executive Apartments. it was Chifley Hotel!!!I asked a local for the location and she has had a lot of people asking the same question.Also codes for entries into buildings also confusing!!

I appreciate the security for this property but having to have separate codes (one for car park and one for hotel) and needing to use them for external doors, carparking, lifts and hotel rooms was tedious especially when carrying luggage.

A pleasant surprise because some reviews weren’t good. Lovely clean comfortable apartment.

The codes to get into the car park was different to the room code. Not really a problem.

Near at the beach

They said the pool we’re heated, but it’s not.

Great room.

I thought there was a sofa bed in addition to the bed. My mistake. The shower with just the pull around curtain was a bit weird. Water sprayed out and got the floor wet.

I thin we were upgraded which was lovely

there were some maintenance issues when we arrived, but soon resolved

Location

The staff was unfriendly, the property manager was stressed and not do anything about it. a room was was very bright and there were cockroaches in the room. I’m very disappointed about this accomodation.

Price was great for the location. Excellent location

Just be aware the apartment is not huge & 4 adults could find it cramped but it's clean & modern with a balcony. I should have reported the 2 TV controllers were synced so kept changing both TVs. Didn't know how to fix it.

The apartment was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Was within a ten minute walk to the ADF office.Will definitely stay there again

It was economic

The air conditioner made a loud whistling noise in the middle of the night that kept me awake for hours, very disappointed. I contacted the apartments to let them know about this but they still haven't responded to my email over a week ago.

Place was spacious and close to many things.

Nosy upstairs neighbours who wouldn’t leave us a lone.

There was hair still on the bathroom walls & floor like a dirty cloth had been used. 2 HUGE spiders were discovered in the bathroom at 1am, a dead cockroach in the kitchen. States it has a view, there’s nothing to look at whatsoever. Hall way has a very odd smell, like cat food.

Great location, enjoyed the gym and pool, helpful staff.

Furnishings were sparse, some lights did not work, a drawer was missing in the bedroom

Location was very convenient. 2 b’room apartment was a good size for 4 adults. Value for money. Washer and dryer was handy for a 5 night stay.

Room was not ready till 5:15pm which was extremely dissatisfying. Room needs a deep clean, skirting boards were dusty and marked, blinds could be cleaner and walls were marked. Found a used cotton tip which had fallen behind a bedside table from a previous guest so you know rooms are only superficially cleaned. Staying 5 nights with no housekeeping during the stay at all, would have been nice to have housekeeping after the first 3 nights. There was a washer and dryer at least so we could wash our own towels. Beds were very soft.
