Pros +
- Good location, working appliances
- Lovely couple that run the park were very nice and awesome location our daughter loved it especially being right by the inlet which is great fot swimming and exploring with kids we had a great time
- Lovely secluded location not far from tourist attractions
Cons -
- There was not a single hook or closet to hang up a rain coat or anything. There was no place to place my suitcase. The bathroom had 1 hook for a towel and no room for toiletries.. there were cobwebs above the sliding glass door. The heat was not turned on prior to my arrival & the cabin was damp & had mold on the white darkening curtains used for the sliding glass doors….it almost triggered an asthma attack for me…thankfully I had meds.
- Nothing it was great
- Would have appreciated wifi

Quirky
TV only only able to tune to very limited channels. It would have been nice to have glad wrap and Al foil supplied.
Comfy bed. Only double which was disappointing
Too much road noise
Very friendly and welcoming owners of the park. They had the wood fire going when we arrived late that day! Beautiful and cosy. It’s like taking a holiday when you’re a kid. Rustic and free of too many modern interventions. Camp kitchen is great filled with couches and a beautiful wood heater. Our children thought it was great to be able to wander around and explore. The cabins are a little dated, but if it’s somewhere to lay your head after travelling around the sites, it does the job more than fine. We would be happy to stay again with our family.
Nothing really
Pleasant
we had a budget room, no issue with that, but the room was so small we couldnt fit our luggage, The room also sleeps 5, but only has seating for 2
Right near the beach and swimming spots.
The playground was old and broken. Maybe just get rid of it.
Very little
The tap water was brown. There were dead flies in the window tracks & on the floor. Overall presentation was poor. The stove elements only went on the highest heat setting & unable to adjust the heat. The balcony doors did not close properly.
Loved the location and the quirky set up.
The cabin was somewhat tired and cramped even for one person. The cabin could do with a better couch and less beds.
Laid back; quiet; lovely bush surrounds & the creek itself was delightful - sandy & NO mud!
The park needs a few $ spent on it .
the location was good
no internet service inside the cabin. had to sit outside to get any at all. the cabin was old and outdated and needed refurbishing. people want to stay in something nicer than they already live it not go backwards. it was on the dirty side. shower recess needed a good scrub. plates and cutlery I washed before I used it.
This park is set in a beautiful location it has very quirky retro cabins and is a great place to switch off as you won't get reception or wifi here but that won't matter with the beautiful creek's , bush walks and beaches at your finger tips. The hosts were lovely and helpful and this is a great place to stay if you want to show your kids what a true blue caravan park from your childhood was like.
A map would have been helpful in the Maze of cabins on our first day but we quickly found our bearings.
Beautiful, peaceful, quiet property in amongst nature on the edge of a picturesque creek. Easy drive to Stanley & loved our very rustic cabin, very well equipped in kitchen, laundry. Absolutely loved it.
Bush setting on beach, beautiful. Quiet. Friendly staff who provided a better cabin with BBQ when we asked about cooking facilities.
Location is stunning Owners are awesome
Amenities block was dirty and outdated Cabin was very outdated
Friendly and helpful staff that was full of excellent recommendations of services around the area. The property is stunning and makes for a great way to start the day walking around the grounds.
The sign to turn in from the highway was right where you need to turn, it might be helpful to be a little before the actual turn off. Though I do understand that some councils don't allow private signals along the roads.
Friendly, helpful staff
No storage space - Nowhere to put suitcases, nowhere to hang clothesNowhere to hang towels to dryNo internet (not just wi-fi but the mobile data was woeful) - this made planning our stay almost impossible. Google maps didn't even work.
It was clean for its age and fire was lovely but mouse poo around. Just is a bit old and tired- very friendly owners and lovely river park. Very busy at Easter. I recommend staying in the park when it’s quiet.
New curtains and new Decor would make this place lovely.
Such a beautiful setting with acres of bush to explore. The tidal 'creek' was great for fishing/kayaking and skate park for the teenagers there while there were facilities like the trampoline, and duck pond and other birds to entertain younger ones. As "oldies" we just enjoyed the quietness and setting and didn't even get the chance to fully explore all on offer.
The water pressure (hot water) in the shower was very limited
