- Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. Food at the lodge was great. Location is stunning.
- This was my second time to visiting this lovely place in this year. There is excellent as always. Warmest staff, wonderful food and particularly beautiful scenery.
- We loved our stay at Freycinet Lodge. It was beautiful, the cabin we stayed in was clean and incredibly comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful and they even gave us a complimentary bottle of local bubbles. A perfect spot for our honeymoon, we would stay here again.
Cons -
- Not a thing.
- Very average breakfast. I've been for travelling for decades and it's the first time room cleaning only means making bed and changing towels ... no floor mopping or hovering, considering we were at the beach most days with kids. By the end of the stay, the room was full of sand and had to clean myself the bathroom ... not what you expect when you pay 1000 aud PER NIGHT. Not worth it
- While it is nice how the cabins are distributed in the nature, some of them are quite far away from the main building and beach. Additionally, our cabin was surrounded by pathways so we always had either cars drive in front of our balcony or people walking by which was a little bothersome as we did not feel like we had a lot of privacy. While we enjoy the nature, there were so many trees around our specific cabin, that it was very dark (except the balcony where the cars and people were). The Honeymoon Beach was almost always closed as it was reserved due to many weddings happening while we were there.

Excellent location but can only take advantage of it when the weather is good.

Staff, facility, on-sight restaurants, free breakfast
The location is great and the service as well.

The best location and facilities are great and convenient! Restaurants inside the facility and breakfast included are a plus! Close to beach and cabin and in house all well maintained and update to date!
Very expensive!
Location & staff. Comfortable bed.
Seems expensive for what it offers. Bay restaurant good but pricey. Robinsons very average.
Great location
My second stay there. Food and service was gone down hill especially for breakfast. Eggs came out cold and did not get our coffees until 10 minutes after we finished eating despite asking twice. That happened at both breakfasts but at least the eggs came out warm for the first one
Access to beachFriendly attentive polite well trained staff
The staffs were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful! The front-house staff was so enthusiastic during check-in, and another one helped us catch a spider in our room. Loved their vibe!
The main facility was superb because of the building itself and it's location looking out to sea. The breakfast was superb and there was plenty to choose from. Our room was cosy with a private balcony with nature and a sea view. It was centrally located to many places to visit.
We loved the cabin room! Had a gorgeous view from our deck to the beautiful grounds and the water. Very private. The room was outstanding and large. Bathroom and shower were also large and comfortable. The hotel is nicely built to blend in with the surroundings. Nice to have a restaurant, bistro and bar onsite. Walked to the beach (although very windy!) which was beautiful. Close drive to catch the ferry to Wineglass Bay. Would absolutely stay again!

Spacious rooms and excellent eating and lounge areas. Staff very friendly. Access to local sites and walking tracks very close.
The room was well designed and comfortable, great location and helpful staff.
Location, room facilities, amenities
Stunning natural surroundings, comfortable cabin, lovely breakfast and an attentive staff made the stay perfect.
What a magnificent setting million dollar views from the main building . Dinner and breakfast superb would go back again in a heart beat
Amazing views from the main Reception. The balconies are completely overgrown and should be trimmed a little as it makes the Family Cabin dark.
F&B service was hit and miss whilst the staff were lovely but overwhelmed at times with to many guests. The Family Cabin needs a refresh of upholstery curtains and the bathroom had thick mold
Top of the line place. Great breakfast. Very helpful staff. I forgot a necklace there. They found it and mailed it to me in Sydney on my last day
