We’ll set out and private staying at the deluxe rooms in a 5 minute walk from the main building

No room service at buildings separate from main building

Facilities were excellent , as were the staff.

We were thinking we were going to stay in the main building with an ocean view, only to find we were a short drive from all the facilities and main building in a separate piece of accommodation. Booking.com didn’t make us aware this is what we were booking, which was disappointing.

view was great, the room was clean but there were stains on the couch, which wasn't great to see.

The location is stunning. The building is beautiful. Staff professional and helpful and friendly. Restaurants and food great but expensive.

Everything in the room was perfect but when we opened the balcony door to enjoy the view, we were struck by the state of the balcony. It was covered in bird droppings, all over the floor, chairs and balustrade. It meant we didn’t use the balcony, which was disappointing because our plan was to enjoy staying in the room and sitting on the balcony, reading and enjoying the view. It changed our experience. We appreciate how difficult it would be to keep it clean but it was obvious that it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The other thing we would like to mention as feedback, was the recreation room. When we went in, it was adults enjoying the space, which means it is a necessary space. But it was obvious that the room doesn’t get serviced often, because so many things were broken or damaged or missing. That space, with very little effort or expensive, could be a space that your resort could be proud of and also make your customers happy, especially when there isn’t much else to do. I hope this honest feedback is helpful and not taken as me being a difficult customer, because that is not the case. We enjoyed our stay at your resort.

Facilities were nice, location was good

We came for a wedding and had booked via the booking link - it was not clear at all that we had booked an "exterior room" which is around a 10 minute walk away, with no easily available hotel provided mode of transport and no room service or even coffee available to be sent to the room. The staff were somewhat helpful, however we did have to use the bell carriage for our own luggage and take it up to our own room and bring it down. For a hotel of this price and calibre I would have expected better. How can they call these "external rooms" if there is no shuttle or buggies there, no room service or anything! And charge the same price as the main hotel. It is essentially a separate hotel of older, much less high spec rooms. Would NOT reccommed

We got double upgraded and ended up in the most amazing room ever. Full floor to ceiling windows with a 180 degree view of the greenery and golf course. Room was large with a bathroom overlooking the view. Complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Food options at multiple restaurants were great. Amazing facilities with pool, spa, games room, gym, playground and nature walks. 15 minute drive from the beach and many beach walks around. Although there were families, everyone was respectful and quiet. Would 10/10 stay here again.

We were not in the main building and I’m sure this was somewhere mentioned but missed the detail. Had to use our car to get to the gym and spa.

The glass windows were not cleaned and because of this the ocean views were obscured

We lived in the villa. It is spacious and clean. Best for the whole family to stay.

Awkward getting our golf clubs from the ocean view rooms to the course

Cleanliness and strategic location to Hot Springs and Lighthouse. No need to go out of the resort often.

All Staff were excellent and accommodating except the young manager at reception

I had called the day before my booking to request an ocean view roomwhen I arrived the next day for my booking I was advised there was no ocean view rooms and when I rang who did I speak too? I advised a young 20ish year old guy answered my call. The manager advised no young men work in reception so that isn't correct? I showed her on my ph that yes! I did call and YES! some young man spoke to me regarding my request and he wrote my request down. Basically I was made to feel.like a liar!! Well we ended up getting room 3028 right next to kids screaming play area. We work 7 days a week so only had 2 days at racv. Everything was excellent apart from this receptionist attitude!! The second day stay we visited Rye beach and my husband asked me to ring Racv Cape Schank and book for the restaurant that evening in which I did and again another young man answered called Ross. I noticed adjacent to reception is a bar with 3 young men working all 20ish so clearly they answer the calls when reception don't. I wouldn't normally "go on" but I was made to feel a liar and not telling the truth which was upsetting by a young manager half my age with major attitude. I might add that the rest of the staff at RACV were absolutely fantastic really polite and helpful. A beautiful place to stay

Views, cleanliness, facilities were lovely. Fire place at the Samphire bar was delightful with a cocktail and the undercover parking was a bonus with the terrible rain :)

Booking.com had said there was an outdoor pool and there was not

RACV Cape Schanck is a perfect spot for a quick weekend escape from Melbourne. The location is beautiful, with quiet and secluded ocean view rooms that make it very relaxing. The ambiance is peaceful, surrounded by lush greenery, and the facilities were excellent. We loved the breakfast buffet and enjoyed dining at the restaurants. A truly refreshing and enjoyable stay.

Was very comfortable and friendly

Closed curtain and they had a gap as had come off clips. Shower head is broken and water spilling out of the side still functional but not as good pressure if it wasn’t broken

Helpful and friendly staffs. Quiet location. Big and spacious room. Beautiful view of golf course. Warm pools and jacuzzi. Love the game room too!

The room does not have full suply of the items that are ususally provided by the resourts/hotels of that level. The lady at the reception upon our check in seemed a bit too cold during the communication. The morning shaff (during the check out) was fantastic and friendly.)
