Pros +
- The room was nice, nothing special and a little outdated.
- The room was ok. Food was good from the spike bar.
- Location was great along with the food, staff were very pleasant and accommodating.
Cons -
- Checking in I felt that the staff were a bit rude, did not acknowledge us, I understand they were busy. But just a simple "i'll be with you in a minute goes a long way". This is probably being super critical.
- Mattress was old and well used. Room was tired and needed a good clean as windows were very dirty and screen door needed fixing. Don't touch the complementary water it tasted like ot was filtered through dirty socks.
- The room was dusty and lots of cobwebs, not suitable for a place of this reputation.

The room we checked in was spacious. We enjoyed the outdoor pool with our 2 year old as well. We also liked going for a stroll to watch the sunset with our son.
We stayed in 44 and our next door guests were still noisy after 10pm. Me and my husband had trouble falling asleep and we didn’t sleep well that night. We could hear the guests move about in their rooms and that was very unpleasant. The staff in the restaurant were also not very friendly — bordering rude, actually.
The drive to Peppers was enjoyable and the location over looking the golf course was a great way to end the day.
The restaurant was closed for a wedding. We believe we should have been told when we booked. The room and balcony looked tired and dust could easily been seen on the room surfaces in the afternoon light. Compared to the other accommodation we booked, Peppers was the least favourite stay on our driving holiday from Eden, to Melbourne, along the Great Ocean Rd and country NSW.
This is a beautiful, peaceful place. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff were professional and helpful and there were sufficient options for meals.
Absolutely nothing.
Due to availability we booked our first night of a two night stay in a Moonah Room and the second in an Open room. Upon check in we were kindly upgraded to the Open room for both nights. The room was very spacious and well appointed and in a quiet location overlooking the first fairway.
We booked a table at the special outdoor Valentines Day dinner at Pebbles Restaurant. Unfortunately the evening was extremely disappointing. They were chronically understaffed and the staff that were present were very disorganised. At first we were completely ignored until a waitress came to our table with water glasses but no actual water. We didn’t get our main meals for over an hour and a half by which time they were nearly cold. We had to chase up wait staff several times for drinks and even cutlery. It was intentionally an outdoor function but there wasn’t sufficient lighting on our table so we could barely see our food in the dark. To add to the chaos the live entertainment was terrible. Unfortunately it put a sad note on what was otherwise an enjoyable stay. Do yourselves a favour and give Pebbles a miss!
It was a lovely property, especially for people who like to play golf of course.
The room was a bit dated compared to photos and the pool was more of a caravan park vibe setting. There is a bath tub in the rooms but no salts to put in. The rooms are very rustic so theres no floor towels for the shower or bath.
The Breakfast was good. The golf course view from restaurant was beautiful.
There was no air condition or fan in the bedroom only in the living area. After asking for a fan they sent a one which was not working . Had to call them again to get a working one replaced. This same thing happened with Tv remote. No remote for living and when asked for it it was faulty. The toilet seat need replacement.
Staff were very accomodating and location was great for a staycation in Mornington
Room bit out dated
Room size and layout great
Some breakfast items were not at the quality expected, and some breakfast service staff were not welcoming and customer centric
Peaceful and relaxing location.Room was beautiful and well appointed. Lovely staff and great location. Really enjoyed my stay
Very good
The room our teenaged kids had was beautuful and they loved it. The room my wife and I shared was not as nice (but it was cheaper). This room had a kind of glass vestibule that needed key entry, beyond which our room door was accessible, these rooms were in pairs, sharing a vestibule. When we returned from dinner, someone had manually locked the vestibule door from the inside, and the key would not open it from outside, so we could not get through that door to get to our actual room door. We had to trudge around the outside of the whole building in the dark to the back door, which i had fortunately forgotten to lock. This ended up being a small inconvenience, but only because we gained entry via that rear door. I think these vestibule door locks should be able to be opened by key from the outside ( when they have been manually locked from within). ( Our son, my wife and myself all tried to open it with the key, so I am certain that it was not just me)
The bed was comfortable
The sofas were v uncomfortable and needed cushions. The bathroom extractor made a terrible noise like a plane taking off. The toilet didn’t flush properly. There was no air conditioning in bedroom on a v hot day and fan was useless
Lovely location
Just a little dated in the room, a lot scruffs & dents in dark woodwork.Better cleaning on the balcony, windows , screen were very dirty with lots of dust.
Great view. Peaceful. The sticky chicken wings at the bar were delicious. Both golf courses were amazing.
The room lighting did not working properly. The bathrooms were dirty. There was dust throughout the bedroom area. The balcony needed urgent repair. The gym facility was very poor standard.
Size of room, bath
Would be nice to have a microwave in the room and Netflix wasn’t working in my room
Location excellent - chipping green in front of room was good
Communication- order twice from the cafe food forgot one of our meals next day forget to get our coffee - had to remind them - Pro shop purchase some balls to hit in the hitting range - went there and was told not to hit there but go to the chipping range massive cobwebs in the exhaust fan …
Location was awesome, views were great from some rooms
Lack of air conditioning in the bedroom, bathroom dated, food at restaurant sub-par
Big windows and comfortable bef
It would have been nice to have a chair to sit in in the room
