Pros +
- We enjoyed staying at this hotel out in the country. We were able to open the doors/windows to let the breeze in. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
- Friendly hosts, excellent food (we had both dinner and breakfast and we recommend both, they were superb), comfortable room. The house is beautiful and we loved our stay there.
- We loved our nice and friendly hosts… warm hospitality, good food and beautiful garden
Cons -
- There is no public area due to the size of the building.
- The garden needs attention and parking area. I was the only one eating there and the food was so good But loved it anyway
- Absolutely nothing if I am honest, but I joke with Reiner that it could only be improved with the addition of a swimming pool (in their future plans) and a few pet goats!

I love these quirky hotels. It so different to the normal hotel with good attention to detail and the guests staying. I will return.

We love this place! It's our second time after first staying in 2022. The roads are amazing for motorcycling, quiet and twisty - just how we like them. It was 40 degrees on our last visit so we didn't get to see the local sights but this time we visited the ancient bridge, stunning basilica & the Buddhist temple. The accommodation is great, really lovely, excellent aircon, very comfortable bed, brilliant hospitality from Reiner and stunning food from Angel that's better than any restaurant I've eaten in.
Absolutely nothing if I am honest, but I joke with Reiner that it could only be improved with the addition of a swimming pool (in their future plans) and a few pet goats!
Beautiful room with all comforts. Reiner was the most attentive host full of ideas for places to visit. The bed was very comfortable with the very best bed linen. Bathroom was beautiful with spa shower.Food was outstanding. Only the best jngredients sourced locally. The hotel is within easy reach of some of the best places in Northern Spain.
An absolute delight and superb value! There really is too much for my wife and I to inform on the detail of what was so wonderful about our three-night stay. What follows, however, are some important highlights. Reiner was such an accommodating and attentive host. He provided us with incredible insights into, and hand-drawn maps of, the routes and wonderful sites to visit in Ribagorza - and there are many; the oldest cathedral in Spain, for example. The hotel is ideally located near to Graus for just such touring. Our bedroom was very comfortable and well-appointed with tea/coffee-making facilities. Now...the food! Where to begin? The breakfasts were plentiful, of great quality and varied. The evening meals were of a five-star gourmet standard, every night. All were lovingly prepared by Angel - he is an extraordinarily skilful chef and so creative with his ingredients! And the ingredients all were of the highest quality. Imagine a wondrously delicious chocolate basket filled with cherries, not so. It was filled with pumpkin, and the resulting taste was..... stunning! Both Reiner and Angel are passionate providers and users of seasonal locally-sourced and organic foodstuffs, and the beers and wines also are of the highest available quality. In conclusion, we cannot recommend highly enough the facilities and resources provided - and - the bonus of no children, well, hoorah for that! We shall be back for sure!! Thank you both, Reiner and Angel! From Patsy and Pete.
We got great guidance on places to go and routes to take by car. We visited superb sites that we would never have known about without the owners help.
We preferred to eat dinner in restaurants in the area. Also the hotel was further from places in the Pyrenees that we wanted to visit on day trips.
The restaurant was amazing! Fantastic food! The room was cute and comfortable. Neat 4 shower head shower. Was given a free room upgrade.
The hotel itself was good not great,,, the food was exceptional apart from the Desert I had ,,, so overall we probably return though It was a bit pricy ..
Work needed outside
The food at Bodegas de Arnés is truly exceptional, each dish expertly prepared and perfectly presented by Angel, the chef, using fresh and local ingredients. Both Angel and Reiner, who run the hotel, were so friendly and welcoming and made our stay feel like staying with friends. They gave us a lot of advice and information about places to visit in the area. The room was designed in an original way, with a Moroccan theme. We had three balconies, each with a mosquito screen. There is outdoor seating in the garden with great views. Ample parking. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. Altogether a very enjoyable stay!
Nothing to not like.
Attention to detail and friendly manner of the owners was brilliant.Food excellent.Provided a secure building for storage of our bicycles.
Beautiful, big and very comfortable rooms. Excellent food and wine and very friendly and competent staff in beautiful surroundings.
Amazing cooks, and hospitality! The area is surrounded by beautiful nature. We visited small and pretty villages and some of the historic remains. will definitely come back!
What a little hidden gem in Huesca! The customer service, the bed, the peaceful surrounding, the breakfast, the quirky decor. Rainer & Angel are the best guides you could ask for.
Nothing, we loved it all.
The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Their recommendations for hiking trips were great.Dinner and breakfast were wonderful.Charming old house.
A real hidden gem and a wonderful retreat. This former Bodegas has been lovingly restored by the current owners, Reiner & Arncle who are the perfect boasts and clearly passionate about their business and home. They have future plans to create a swimming pool in the grounds and outdoor restaurant. The hotel is tucked away up a rural lane but only a short distance from the town and enjoys a commanding position overlooking the valley. There are only four letting rooms and ours, Calla was a comfortable and spacious room that has been beautiful furnished with individual flair, views over the countryside and a sumptuous shower room. This is the perfect hotel for the gastronomic, as the food is lovingly prepared by Arncle, who is an exceptional chef and a master of his craft. The dishes use local organic produce some from the family farm. Our dinner was absolutely delicious and by far one of the best meals we have ever enjoyed, even compared to the many Michelin star restaurants we have eaten at. The wine cellar compliments the food and Reiner is happy to recommend the perfect pairing. Breakfast was of a similar high standard with an excellent selection that will certainly set you up for the day.Thank you for a wonderful stay, we felt privileged to share your beautiful home.
We couldn’t stay longer.
It was a beautiful house and the hosts were superb. If there had been a pool we would have stayed longer but it was so hot, once you left the house, the garden and seating outside were just too uncomfortable. We would however stay for another night or two in the future.
Nothing really.
Great location for good motorbiking roads, hosts Reiner and Angel were super friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Reiner speaks excellent English as well as German and French (plus a few more!). Beautiful building, stunning unusual room with excellent aircon given we had 40 degree heatwave, super comfortable bed, plenty of room and a fridge too. We booked half board and the food was amazing - worth Michelin stars!
Packing up the motorbikes to leave!
