Hotel Windsor Barranquilla

Nothing. No hot water for 4 days. No apology or offers for compensation.

Tried to check in at 1:30. They said not until 3:00. Tried to check in at 3, they said they were still cleaning the room, asked me to wait 20 minutes. At 4, was able to get a room. Pulled back the cover to take a nap, sheets were covered with body fluids.

The property is an older property but it is very well maintained. Location is excellent you have everything within walking distance. The breakfast is exceptional. The price you get on booking is the cheapest room and located in the worse part of the hotel. Of course once you arrive they will try to upgrade you however it’s so reasonable that it’s worth it especially if you travel with US dollars or Euro Barranquilla is an older city. However it’s really worth the price and you if traveling for leisure spend a day in Santa Marta absolutely amazing.

Since it’s older it does have a certain smell but nothing bad. Basically the same as many older Hotel s have in NY.

The room, the bed was very comfortable

One of the reasons I picked the hotel was for the pool for my daughter. We checked in on a Sunday and my daughter was counting on the pool on Monday. It was closed and reception indicated that the pool was closed every Monday. We were very disappointed. A reason for possibly not coming back

Staff was good, breakfast was good.

The place has a weird smell, it looks good in the outside but the inside is old, the bathroom was not clean and the toilet didn’t even flush.

I loved the staff... on day one, they knew my name.. made me feel comfortable. Nicolas was the best.

Staff were very friendly and helpful anytime I asked for something. The room was super clean and I had everything I needed. Great location close to everything, lots of shopping and restaurants close by. Breakfast included is fresh every morning and great quality.

The wifi was a bit slow so it was hard to get work done at times.

It was my 1st time in Barranquilla so I was unaware that the hotel was on the strip of bars. So the music didn’t stop till 4am. But I was on vacation so I can’t say I’m angry. It just caught me by surprise

Location

It seems this hotel have been frozen in time. The bathrooms have not been renovated and there were leaks. The breakfast is average. The rooms facing the main street are very noisy.

Very convenient location, good food for breakfast, staff were very thorough providing towels and cleaning the room. Would love to stay again!

I would like to express my concern regarding the delayed room availability during our recent stay. We arrived at 5:00 PM, two hours after the official check-in time of 3:00 PM, but our room was still not ready. This caused inconvenience and disrupted our plans.I hope this issue can be addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

The staff is nice and also the restaurant serves really good food.

The rooms should get a renovation. It works but it's old. Noise cancellation from the hallway is not the best.

It’s in a good location and from the outside appears nice

My room had leaking aircon, shower soap dish was loose, and toilet was temperamental at flushing

On the whole the staff were very helpful, the pool was very enjoyable but opened late.

The pool was supposed to be open at 8A.M. but remained closed until 9. As we had a tight schedule that was dissapointing.

It's in a sketchy area, not much to be done about that. I would not wander out around alone at night

The staff was very helpful and the receptionists spoke English well. The room looked like advertised and was overall ok.

Generally, the place has seen its best days and is worn out. A lot of small broken things. Our room had a safe but no instructions on how to set it up. Also there was some significant mold on the bathroom ceiling. We are not prudish and hence didn't say anything, but if we had planned to stay longer, we would have definitely asked for another room.

The location and service is wonderful. The beds are extremely comfy! Staff is superb and friendly.

There was a spider and cockroach in my room and I had to kill then both. Groundskeeper needs to pay more attention to pests.

Room and breakfast war very goodI did not used the pool, but it was nice to see

The only thing that i did not like was the black water that went down in the street in front of the hotel obviously also with a bad smell.But that was something that the hotel had not in hand.
