For five star this hotel dont have ironing biard, coffe machine, you pay for all, 17000 pesos for two water bottle, is crazy

The security guard was consistently friendly, but the front desk staff left a very different impression. On three occasions, simple requests became unnecessarily difficult: the air conditioner was only fixed after an hour and three dismissed calls, until a cleaning lady kindly intervened; toilet paper took over an hour and multiple calls to arrive; and basic items like a hair dryer and ironing board had to be chased down. In addition, the room (308) showed signs of disrepair with a leaking toilet, cracked bathroom walls, and a broken drawer.It is worth noting that the cleaning staff showed genuine initiative and warmth—stepping in where the front desk had fallen short. Their willingness to assist highlights the kind of attentive service guests hope to experience throughout the property. If that same standard of care were extended by all staff members, this hotel could truly live up to the expectations carried by the NH name.

The ease and access. Has a beautiful roof terrace with a pool and restaurant.

Honestly I wasn’t here long enough. For the short time I was here it was pleasant.

Staff is very helpful, Shows excellent initiative when problem-solving.

I think the rooms could benefit of some maintenance, painting walls, update mattress, update towels.

Breakfast is fantastic as well as the restaurant team. To highlight Carolina from the front desk and Alcira from the restaurant. Location is great. Rooms are comfortable and price is fair. The terrace is well maintained and the pool very cool. Although I am Hilton guy I would stay here again.

Costumer service is good, but I believe there is room for improvement to assure standardization. Overall it's a great deal.

The friendliness of the staff, everything was beautiful

Some of the service fees were a little bit higher than I expected. Drinks and dry cleaning.. 600,00 pesos. 159.78. 2 shirts 2 pants. 16 drinks. 2 days between four people. I just paid it. To me that was a high service charge. And stuff from the mini bar. Like snacks.

Location was great. Breakfast aceptable. Service was friendly and efficient. Helpful staff.

The hotel has many common areas that can be used to visit with family. Nice Junior Suite.

For many years we have had no problem consuming outside food and drinks at the hotel as long as we were respectful. In fact, we have had bartenders and waiters leave on the music for us and provide us with ice in the past. This is why we always have stayed here. This trip, the front desk clerk/manager went out of her way to tell us that we couldn’t do that anymore, which was fine. However, we will not stay at NH anymore. There are many other hotels in the area with lower prices that have much larger pool and bar areas and many food options. If we are going to overpay for beer, then we will elect one of those hotels.

We were NOT welcomed warmly or with a smile by the check in desk and was simply asked "Passport" and were left waiting in the lobby while they discussed our situation with management after 20 mins we had to return to the front desk person to find out they would not check us in. They did not even have the decency to update us and just left us there waiting. This was our first trip to Barranquilla, Colombia as Americans celebrating our 25 year anniversary, and a friend had referred this hotel to us, nobody in their right minds would walk around a notoriously dangerous city carrying their passports even though we had alternative IDs. There is nothing in the booking policies that stated we can only check-in with passports. We were staying at the Marriott further out of town and decided to book the NH Hotel Barranquilla for the day so that we could sightsee and refresh throughout the day within walking distance.

Because of the extremely negative reaction to the check-in process, in addition to a prior email from the property stating that the hotel bar is not available and we needed to pre-book access to the pool. To further insult us, the hotel stated to Booking.com that we were a "no show" at the 3pm check-in time when they clearly refused to check us in with the risk of charging the full rate.

Very nice hotel with large rooms. Tons of restaurants nearby and the included hotel breakfast is excellent! A great place to stay while in Barranquilla.

The room was absolutely amazing for the price we paid. Although there was a bit of a language barrier between my bad Spanish and their much better English, it never interfered with any of our needs. They were very accommodating.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Maybe the fact that there was only one elevator operating at times, but that didn't seem to slow us down. I suspect that was intentional since the hotel was far from full during our stay.

I enjoyed pretty much everything. The pool even though is small, is very comfortable and the jacuzzi at the roof top was amazing. The food was good and the staff was always asking for improvement
