Barranquilla Marriott Hotel

Very clean, room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, staff took us to our room explain where everything was and how to adjust the temperature in the room. We enjoyed drinks at the 5 o’clock wine and snack room. We had dinner at your restaurant. Staff is Pleasant and the food was good. Desk staff made check out easy got us a taxi to our next destination.

This is a fantastic hotel. The staffs are very professional, and friendly. Room super clean, everything is great! I wish Marriott could be in every city I visit in Colombia. This is probably the best hotel you can experience. Well done Marriott Barranquilla! You deserved 6 stars!

Restaurant is very bad. They offer you very expensive imported meat that it is terrible.

EVERYTHING. The staff was so incredibly kind and accommodating. They made the entire experience wonderful. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and I was able to work very efficiently with the set up. The restaurant, Amira, is spectacular. Amazing location, close to shops, restaurants and tourist attraction. Definitely coming back.

Very clean inside. Beds are comfy.

The pillows provided absolutely no support for our heads. The windows of the room were very dirty. The views from the fifth floor we’re of a trash dump beside the property. The ground-level pool is partially shaded until 11 AM and again starting around 4 PM. The bartender was unfriendly and left piles of used cups and dishes in the middle of the service area on the bar.

Staff are exceptional and the General Manager has built up a formidable team of talent for her hotel The kitchen dining staff are impressive and go beyond the normal gold standard.

There was no parking spots available and that should be a future upgrade - my rental was parked outside across the street under a dirt patch with local taxis - if it wasn’t for the fact that the staff were so nice - I would have moved to another hotel - I needed to park my rental car

Standard branded hotel, however I have to point out the staff, they were extreamly attentive and happy to help on any request, from the security team, front office team, restaurant staff and house keeping, they all did there best to ensure I was always happy with everything, management team to be very proud of their staff.

Biggest problem for me was the billing system, not only was it virtually impossible to keep track on your spending, due to delays with posting information to the system, for example a family meal which we had on the 26th December was posted on the 29th, and that was not the only charge, this happend on a regular basis.Additionally checking out was a long and draw out process, lucky I was leaving at 4am the following morning and decided to be proactive and finalize the checkout the night before.When the checkout was finally over, I was contacted an hour later to be advised there was a further small charge remaining to clear, due to a system update.It was slightly frustrating, however I take into account this hotel has only been open for 4 months and it is obvious they have some system bugs to iron out.Hopefully they will get these issues resolved very soon.

The staff is amazing and very careful to our needs. They gave me more services than i thought and felt more than welcome. A1 and recommend it to everyone.
