We paid extra for balcony and sea view which was worth it as a lovely view of the sea (albeit with trees slightly obscuring view from 1st floor, 2nd floor view better). Great to have twin bed availability as I came with my mum, good breakfast (€16 p/h), friendly, helpful staff. Great facilities in the room including a kettle and good bath products. Comfortable bed and very good pillows. The best bit was the massage in the spa - absolutely fabulous.

Note: The main road is very close so the view is over the road with the sea behind. Unfortunately our room (1st floor) was above the restaurant so we were woken very early with banging and scraping of chairs as breakfast was being prepared. Also, the shower screen is fixed to the bath so my elderly mum wasn’t able to reach around to turn on the taps to the bath/shower without getting into the bath first.

The staff are very helpful and friendly. Facilities good (parking).

Too far from the centre of Colliure … next to a busy road and railway line (didn’t hear the train). Room with balcony looked over the car park (described as view over the pines… the car park has pine trees). You have to drive or get a taxi if you wish to eat out in the evening. Set menu was ok, but the food (starter) was stone cold, with the bowl being hot when served (so clearly pre-prepared and not fresh). Waiter apologised and kindly brought out an alternative.

This worked well for an overnight halt close to Collioure, particularly because it has plenty of parking. A beautiful setting, good soundproofing (the road and railway run just below but with the windows shut silence reigns), top quality fixtures and fittings, an exceptionally comfortable bed with good bed linen. Fridge and kettle both provided (a rarity in French hotels). We enjoyed our short stay but didn't sample the pool or spa.

Our only issue was with the restaurant, important to us since no others are in walking distance and we didn't want to go out at the end of a long day. The 45 euro menu was of a 'haute cuisine' style, with few choices for each course, hardly any of them suitable for a vegetarian with coeliac disease. But there was zero flexibility from the staff - even the suggestion of a salad from the room service menu received a brusque 'non'. This spoiled the experience (and suggested that perhaps no actual cooking takes place on site, perhaps pre-prepared dishes are served). Look elsewhere if you have special dietary needs!

The hotel is modern and clean, and in a good location for sightseeing in Collioure. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

The restaurant staff were rude and extremely unhelpful. A lady took us to table, placed a menu on the table walked off. I didn’t like the table as it was in the centre of the room. We were left standing, while she kept bringing others to there tables, we tried to talk to her to ask if we could sit at one of the other vacant tables, we were just ignored. In the end we went to another table, however we hadn’t noticed the chairs were really wet. My dress was soaked We tried to wipe the chairs with napkins, but it was clear we needed to leave as our clothes were so wet. No one came to see if we were ok. The reception staff were very sorry and talked to the restaurant staff, who said it was our fault because we had moved seats. They failed to acknowledge that any one of the residents could have sat there, and weren’t sorry in anyway. Not a great way to celebrate my birthday.

Hotel had good sized poolBedding cleanOffers SPA facilities but chargeable 65 euro for 45 mins use.

Booked a sea view room at this hotel based on the hotel advertised room pictures. We opted for a small double with a great sea view. Our booking email confirmation came through for a small double room type with a great sea view, which also provided a room picture. We were happy and looked forward to our stay. However, on arrival, our room was looking out onto pine trees with a row of dead pine trees in pots immediately outside the room itself.Raised our room concerns with the hotel whilst there, which didn't go anywhere and now waiting for a resolve to the misleading room pictures back in the UK prior to updating our reviews on this / other sites. We can post many pictures showing the view we had vs. what we had booked. Hopefully, the management will resolve this issue promptly.

The seventies vibe and the pool were standouts. Everything is so tidy and iconic seventies. The view out to the pine trees was lovely.

No English Breakfast tea in the in room tea selection and no milk for us English tea drinkers.

    Breakfast was good.

Our bedroom looked nothing like the photos displayed on your site. When selecting the Hotel I viewed the photos and every photo I saw was of a room with a couch as well as a double bed.

    8MatthewPosted on: 8-8-2024

The pool is nice and the restaurant has very good food and a great wine selection. It's a short (five minute) walk to the beach, and they provide towels for the beach and the pool.

Breakfast was a bit overpriced, and our ground floor room smelled a bit damp/moldy (as did the AC when you first turn it on), with a very strong scented oil diffuser to cover it up.

Great breakfastDecent sized pool Newly refurbished room, great sea viewLots of parking spaces

Not enough beds around the poolVery quiet at the pool area, needed musicRestaurant and bar menu extremely limited and expensive - needs more variety and to change frequently Few tweaks to the room needed - extra mirror, more space around the sink, something to put toiletries in the shower etcStaff - not all super friendly, we asked for recommendations and was told they would be emailed over, never received. When asked for again, receptionist was very frustrated.Remote location - couldn’t really explore the area on foot, car needed

    7PatrickPosted on: 6-28-2024

the view was good, nice hotel, it is a bit old fashion the way the rooms were and the rest of the hotel, but we had good stay, nice and good services.

the way the terras was, should have been better protected from the wind so you could sit at it.

    5ghassanPosted on: 6-24-2024

The room was small for two people and very school dorm like. Did not go to the pool. The air conditioning compressor was extremely noisy on the balcony. Location is right on busy road and train tracks. There is nothing grand about location or building.
