    Pros +

    • We loved everything about the hotel! Beautiful rooms, charming gardens, exceptional staff- I wish we¿d spent most of our vacation here! It is situated away from the city which was a lovely change.
    • Whimsical place, random statues and koi ponds, lots to discover. Very pretty grounds. we also enjoyed the self service nature, they offered plates/silverware for you to make your own meals/picnics.
    • I really liked almost everything of this place. The room was spacious and the extra bed was prepared as I requested. Everything was well-managed. I really liked the French style breakfast with various selections of breads, jams, juices, and yogurts.

    Cons -

    • Nothing! Best hotel stay we¿ve ever had!
    • We didn't used the pool because some leaves and twigs were floating - maybe it's natural for the outside pool but my daughter didn't like it. For the breakfast, we should pay for the eggs or sausages. I didn't care but my husband was a bit disappointed.
    • Room small and humid/smelling.

Nice country hotel in the nature. Location is super, close to Arles and Camargue

    Room small and humid/smelling.

Beautiful and unique oasis in the country side of Arles. Very comfortable and big room, excellent breakfast, great swimming pool.

    Unique style and comfort

Beautifully furnished and decorated, truly unique. We loved our room on the third floor with the huge doors opening to a private terrace!

We liked everything! Breakfast was delicious, a a we received a warm and helpful welcome even though we arrived slightly after hours 8:10 pm).

This place is unique and special. Pool is beautiful as are the grounds. It is located down a dirt road with nothing around, but that is ok as the place is truly special.

Last time I stayed in a room that was up a staircase but this time on a ground floor room that, sorry to say, was somewhat musty.

Might be better to ask what if anything I didn’t like! This place has such extreme charm and quality, a whimsical touch and a true artisan’s eye. I am so glad that I discovered this place on Booking.com. It has now entered into my very favorite places to stay on our travels in many countries around the world that my husband and I have ever stayed in. It has an extremely rich history, and the landscaping and gardens are enchanting. It’s a complete treat to be here and get to enjoy the quiet And yet not being so far by car from the center of town. I am already hoping that at some point, our daughter will be able to visit this area and stay at this hotel as she is also a world traveler.

I do think that the breakfast could have a little more variety and real juices that are fresh.

Great location, interesting farmhouse. Pools weren't open, early April of course not. Big comfortable rooms, close to town but a car or bike is necessary. We'll be back next time we're in the area.

It's not fair to judge during the spring cleaning that had just started. Once the grounds are clean and everything has been dusted, it will be an exceptional oasis. The grounds will be stunning ?

Great laundry service and big comfortable bedrooms with much outside area. It was raining hard so we did not get to enjoy the outside area and we saw we could.

Beautiful old building set in the most fantastic grounds with outhouses. Excellent breakfast (an extra cost to the quoted price) very helpful staff and free parking. Absolutely loved it. Stayed three nights. Guests must be aware that it is in the middle of nowhere! You can’t just nip out for a meal or a drink

My only comment is that it’s quite ‘rustic’. Possibly not to everyone’s taste. We had a couple of technical problems with the air conditioner and the toilet but there’s nothing not to like

    9SophiePosted on: 10-10-2024

The outdoor space is amazing and quite special, with various lovely sitting areas, ponds and a great pool area. Really worth exploring the garden. The breakfast was really nice too.

The histroy, the layout, the room and amazing grounds

    it was all good

    7FergalPosted on: 9-27-2024

We really enjoyed the decor of the hotel and the rooms. The pool was excellent - very clean and well maintained. The grounds were very fun to explore, despite not being so well maintained.

While we really enjoyed our stay, we felt that the hotel and grounds need to be better maintained. Whatever about the decorations around the garden not being sparkling clean, the chairs and sunbeds were in a severe state of disrepair. There are mosquitos everywhere, and it would be nice for an isolated 4* hotel to offer dinner of some sort. Overall, value for money was lacking. The breakfast was very poor for the price and there wasn't even a bottle of water in the fridge in our room.

    9ValeriePosted on: 9-27-2024

Amazing grounds and garden, excellent breakfast, wonderful atmosphere, very romantic and secluded

Very quaint small spa - surprised they charged 30E for use of jacuzzi and another 30E for use of spa but was enjoyable

    9SuzannePosted on: 9-20-2024

Delicious breakfast. Beautiful breakfast room, gardens, decoration and surroundings. Pool was very enjoyable. Location close to Arles and Beaux de Province. Comfortable beds, air conditioning and reasonable size bathroom.

Mosquitoes in the garden, not the fault of the property. TGV trains could be heard during the day but at night there was no noise. It was a little difficult to find on the small roads.

    8GirlPosted on: 9-16-2024

The hotel was quirky and unusually decorated. Our room was at the top of the main building and had a sunny terrace. The room was very spacious. The garden had lots of pleasant places to sit in and relax. We didn't use the spa or the pool. Breakfast was very good.

It was tucked away and tricky to find. But it is very quiet. The gardens were large but needed a bit more care.

    9LorisPosted on: 9-8-2024

It's an old and historical building, very well restructured, located inside a bush. The park is wonderful, with a pool and a lot of pieces of great design and charm. You can have a breakfast in one of table in the park. The parking is large, without any problem. The room is furnished in the best and fashinable way with a great balcony. Arles is far 7 km from the hotel, but by car isn't a great problem

Maybe, the room could be more large. But every room, I wrote, is different, so I cannot value in deep way this point. To find the hotel is not super easy.

    9SarahPosted on: 9-8-2024

Beautiful garden and pool which were a pleasure to sit and swim in. Comfortable bed and excellent breakfast in an interesting and unusual house.Very peaceful environment yet close to Arles.

Possibly a little more information on local places of interest and good restaurants would have been helpful.

    4JuliettePosted on: 9-6-2024

the breakfast was ok, the internal decoration and the bedrooms were good although the bathroom was a bit run down

the staff were very disinterested, there was a lack of energy and no welcoming feel at all! whoever was the owner never introduced himself or herself. the vegetation was a little too much around the building, you couldn't see the chapel at all, and the mosquitoes were very bad, it was also at least 15 minutes to the closest restaurant for dinner, we felt very isolated, it was not in a very pretty or convenient location at all
