Pros +
- Hotel employee was a great host. He helped us with parking, tourists directions, historical information and food recommendations. Jo's mobile pizza van was a great choice. Eric also had wine for sale. Thanks from the Las Vegas couple
- The view from our room was incredible especially with the setting sun. Close to all amenities- restaurants, store, museum and Roman ruins. The staff were great for they helped us bring our luggage up and then down from the third floor for they do have an elevator. They also let us store it the next day for our river cruise was not boarding till after check out.
- Hotel managers were helpful in getting our lost luggage.! Very friendly and made great recommendations for eating out.
Cons -
- No view of the Rhône from our room.
- Nothing. Perfect.
- Parking and ease of getting into the gated neighborhood which we didn't know about until arrival

Fantastic location with views of the Rhone, a quick walk to all sites of interest, services, and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Room was small but adorable and comfortable. Very good breakfast.
Nothing. Perfect.
I loved the view!! I could open the large windows and see the Rhone River and the river walkway. The staff were friendly and helpful!
Beautiful view from room over the river
Parking and ease of getting into the gated neighborhood which we didn't know about until arrival
I needed to be near the train station, the hotel was ideal for that. It was also very convenient for the centre of town.
A lift would be great.
The room was nice and clean. The view was excellent and you could see the river.
It was like 15 mins walk to the town center
The hosts were very pleasant and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent, the standard was good and all that one would want. The breakfast was excellent. Overall, very good value.
Location was great for the Arena. The room was good for one night
Parking was not free and cost Euro 30 overnight. No restaurant but recommend Maison Volver around corner
It was difficult to find and then to get into. Once there, it was conveniently located to places to eat and for a stroll through old town. The staff was very helpful, helping to carry bags as one of our party had had recent shoulder surgery and couldn’t lift.
A little better instructions as to how to actually get to the hotel would be nice.
Excellent location: very convenient for the train station - minutes from the city centre - overlooking the river.Owners, Martine and Joel always friendly and helpful.
Handy for the station and the town centre. Clean and comfortable, large breakfast buffet (I'd have liked fresh fruit to be included, but otherwise plenty of choice, and delicious fresh bread and croissants etc). Above all the owners were very helpful, friendly and welcoming.
Hardly anything (see above re breakfast!). The hotel has soft water which takes a bit of getting used to. Otherwise nothing.
Great location right on the river and a very short walk to the old city centre. With exhibitions and galleries all within a short walking distance. Room was bigger than I expected and very comfortable.
There was honestly nothing about this hotel I didn't like. It was affordable and had a great location. For the price, the room was big - I've stayed in tiny hotel rooms in France for similar or more money. But it's not fancy - it's basic, but worth the money in my opinion.
Firstly, the hotel is convenient for the railway station, and it is more or less on the bank of the Rhone, just a short walk from the centre and the attractions. The staff were pleased to speak French to us at a pace we could understand. The room was small but big enough for us. The breakfast room was light and the breakfast itself was good.
What is there not to like? I suppose you can't see the river because of flood defences, but what should you expect?
Quaint hotel in a great location, minutes from the train station and an easy walk to the landmarks of Arles.
Excellent location, 5 minutes from railway station and at the entrance to the old town. Our room overlooked the River Rhone which was beautiful. Owner friendly and obliging. Room quiet, clean and comfortable. Excellent value for a 2 star hotel
Location was fantastic. Five minutes from railway station, right by the river (our room had a view over the Rhone), and in the old town. New owners/managers very pleasant and obliging. Quiet. Clean and comfortable room. For a 2 star hotel this is excellent.
Very helpful, they went out of their way. Beautiful place, room with the view on the Rhone was picturesque. Definitely recommend.
Nothing. All perfect
The location - at the edge of the old city and close to the train station. Our room overlooked the river, so we saw lovely sunsets.
there was nothing to dislike.
