    • Very cramped space
    • Showers and toilets were not very clean. Top bunks super high. Loud noises from upstairs starting early early morning like thumping

It was a beautiful place, more than expected. Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms and shower with hot water. Everything was clean.

The dorm room was close to the bar and was very noisy until 10:30 pm. so if you want to sleep early it could be difficult.

I love the atmosphere and the staff was super friendly! Very clean and food was 10/10 with agreeable pricing also don’t forget to ask about the offers on drinks there is on everyday!

The only thing was the WiFi doesn’t reach once you are in your bed!

Great location, close to the center, a lot of cafes and restaurants! The staff was nice and had a great breakfast. I enjoyed the view from the rooftops every night!

Amazing location!! The price was decent. Breakfast included was very delicious from their restaurant and fancy. The free drink after a mishap about the beds was a nice gesture and the staff were across the board wonderful and super friendly. They helped a lot and asked how you are doing, if they can help with anything. I asked for hot water for tea and I received fresh mint too. The local DJ had good tunes playing and even though there was foot traffic, the noise wasn't terrible and the beds were amazingly comfy. I was surprised about the 16+ bunk beds were spacious and clean. Even though I was placed at the very top, they tried to change my beds when I asked. What an amazing view from the rooftop!! I saw a bit of the volcano in the distance.

No kitchen to heat food or store food/drinks.

I liked the overall positive vibe of the hostel. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff went up and beyond to make my stay a positive experience (special thanks to Anita, Sofia and Alicia). The rooftop offers amazing views on the Acatenango and Fuego volcanoes. From Thursday to Saturday, DJ Charly Flow delivers a great mix of Spanish and English party music on the rooftop and chill beats on Sunday.

It would be great to have salad and a few vegetarian options on the menu.

This hostel was just what I needed to meet Antigua. I liked the environment of the hostel, like this mix of a place to stay, but also a place with a lot of night life, and diverse events.

Sometimes there are events at night, so if you want to sleep early, it can get a bit noisy.

    10PaulaPosted on: 12-11-2025

Everything. Probably one of the best hostels with big dorms where I have stayed so far. It's clean, you have privacy on each bed. The breakfast is delicious, everyone extremely friedly, and the food and drinks are amazing.

    I wanted to stay longer.

    10MichaelaPosted on: 12-10-2025

The staff was the best! Big thank you to Anita, Sofia, Alicia and everyone else who made my stay such a wonderful experience. I highly recommend joining DJ Charlie Flow on the rooftop terrace at the weekend - good sound, good vibes and the best view of the volcanoes!

    Nothing to complain about.

    9EmmaPosted on: 12-8-2025

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the included breakfast is great! The beds are big enough to sit up in and have all the things you need (shelf, light, wall plug). Awesome location!

Sharing the bathroom/showers with the restaurant guests was a bit weird.

    8SloanePosted on: 12-2-2025

Very well maintained, outdoors, nice rooftop, beds were comfy and spacious and private. Someone always at reception to ensure safety or help. Weekly events were lively. DJ was great and food/drinks were tasty. Helpful, friendly staff.

Not a terribly great spot to socialize with others if you are a solo traveler. They do a good job of trying to coordinate people who are solo but things are just a bit too spread out to make it easy to connect with other travelers. The upstairs bar (not sure if it’s used very often or not) was unfortunately built right in the way of the view from the roof, which is unfortunate. The staff were nice and super professional, but I almost wish at times that they were more willing to engage with solo guests and have a bit of a conversation if time allows for it.

Very clean and comfortable Hostel with friendly staff and a fantastic rooftop garden.

    3TaylorPosted on: 11-18-2025

DJ blasting music throughout the hostel until 10pm. The music could be heard from every dorm.Place seems like a restaurant first and a hostel second. Staff seemed to care more about restaurant/bar patrons than guests.10 people per shared dorm, charged me for a towel, and their laundry service was out of order. Worst hostel by far of the 5 that I stayed in during my trip.

    10JoshuaPosted on: 9-3-2025

Staff were great super chill restaurant and bar were great rooms were great lockers were decent. is clean. They cleaned our rooms every day same with the bathroom and shower this place is on the pricy side for a hostel but super nice I loved the roof top bar and the fire place if I am in Antigua again I would stay here

    10AlainPosted on: 8-8-2025

Location and the interior which doesn’t really feel like a hostel. The food was good, too.

The bracelet system is not safe for visitors when they’re outside. Change it to an elastic one which guests can remove when they’re outside.

    10SmaroPosted on: 8-2-2025

    Organized, Clean, perfect location

    10StephaniePosted on: 7-20-2025

I loved the price, the ambiance, the staff, how comfortable the beds are!

    Nothing at all

    7AlainPosted on: 7-19-2025

The location, the decor, the restaurant views, the rooms, and the food.

I would’ve given this place an excellent review if not for one major issue: the bracelet system. While I understand it’s meant for guest safety, it actually does the opposite when you’re outside the property. The white colored bracelet makes it obvious you’re a tourist, which could attract unwanted attention or even scams. This may work for beach resorts, but it feels out of place here.A better alternative might be a discreet, elastic band that guests can keep in their pocket when heading out and show to security upon return. It’s a small change that could make a big difference in guest safety and comfort.
