    Pros +

    • Everything about the property was beautiful from the entrance, front desk, the various seating areas surrounded by plants and flowing water, to the rustic appeal.
    • Breakfast was excellent. All the food was delicious. Best experience i have ever had as an avid traveller. Am still day dreaming about the hotel, food, drinks and the amazing staff. The most friendly staff and the best bar in all my travelling experience. It felt more like visiting family and home. Can't wait to go back. Kevin was great booking all the transfers and dinners. The General Manager Rosa Maria was great. She even made us snacks to take to the airport. The restaurant /bar manager is a great person as well. Everything that comes out of their kitchen or the bar is devine. I can go on and on about this hotel. The room where we stayed was beautiful and we wish we had booked for a lifetime instead of just a few days! Run!,Don't Walk!
    • Location and bed.

    Cons -

    • The shower pressure in the double room was lacking.
    • Loved everything
    • Breakfast was really poor for the level of the hotel. No juices, limited amount of food, no fruits, had to keep asking for more coffee.Pillows were way too high which made really uncomfortable for sleeping. I had to sleep without a pillow.

Lovely hotel, not far from the center of town, charming rooms and facilities with a beautiful rooftop terrace. The beds were excellent. Included breakfast was great

Hot water took a long time and didn't get very hot ,solar heaters ineffective.

The Hotel is cozy and cute. Nice terraces and views. Delux rooms are very nice. Food was great. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Standard rooms in the older part of the hotel are extremely small. We had to upgrade because our luggage almost didn’t fit.

The grounds are fine. The rooms were clean.

There was no hot water. After 10 min the shower water was still lukewarm. After i told about this to the reception, they just shrugged their shoulders and said that nobody else complained about the water.... OK... Honestly, take your money elsewhere. the grounds are pretty but very small so there is no real space to "go for a walk", just a few benches to hang out on. If the grounds is what you care, spend an extra $100 and stay at Casa Hotel Santa Domingo -- their grounds are impressive, and they have a pool/hottub and overall so much much more impressive. The rooms are pretty small (though clean and comfortable). Honestly, i did not get what i paid extra for -- the hotel is one of the more expensive in town and you get nothing for it. No pool, no spa, no customer service, and apparently not even hot water. Either pick a cheaper hotel or splurge for Santa Domingo. I wish i stayed there both nights.

We loved the food — truly excellent — and the ambiance throughout the hotel is beautiful. Its location is perfect for exploring Antigua, and the service from the waitstaff was outstanding

Unfortunately, our stay also came with some significant inconveniences. When we arrived, we discovered there was no hot water in our room. We were informed that the system runs on solar panels and that no maintenance staff was available at that hour to address the issue. In the following days, the hot water still did not last long enough for a full shower. Additionally, our room was located right next to an active construction site, and we could clearly hear hammering and drilling from very early in the morning until late in the day — almost as if it were happening inside the room. For our third and final night, the hotel moved us to a different room to reduce the noise, but the new room was noticeably smaller than the one we had originally booked. Despite the inconveniences and the downgrade, no compensation or gesture was offered to make up for the experience.

The Hotel and courtyard were beautiful. The food was great and the location was ideal. The rooms were very clean and cozy.

Check in was late but they were very nice about it.

The property was small, quiet and the staff was very helpful! The room was very clean. I loved the Asthetics of the property as well. They did a nice job blending history with modern amenities!

This is a MUST STAY!!! I've been all over the world and I absolutely LOVE it here!!! It's beautiful, clean, with AMAZING service (thanks Stephanie!). The most thoughtful little notes at night with real turn down service and a chocolate on your pillow! 10/10. Includes breakfast which is delicious with a huge selection. We already booked to come back. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay in this idyllic city we've come to love ❤️

    Nothing. Wouldn't change a thing.

Facilities are beautifully designed and maintained. Beds are super comfortable. Breakfast has plenty of options. They go the extra mile offering umbrellas for guest use since area is rainy. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. Also, we got a treat every day in our room after they cleaned it! Highly recommend!

juices aren’t included in breakfast, they are for an extra cost. Also, they take the currency exchange to a different rate, so when they charged my card in their local currency it ended up being more than what my original reservation said it would be in US $.

Outstanding breakfast, kind staff, gorgeous views from rooftop, comfy bed, got early check in, and only 10 min walk to town. Also very quiet. Would stay again!

The spa was good. They have a lot of nature and a water source so it is nice and relaxing

The rooms are very small and the jacuzzi didn’t function

The location is perfect. Not a far walk from great restaurants and great sight seeing. The views from the roof were amazing. Our presidential suite was absolutely beautiful. The staff is so friendly and the restaurant in the lobby is so good. Would definitely come back.

From the moment Gloria and I walked in, we were greeted by waiters and staff Esdras, Brenda, Guisella, Jemy, Angelica, Alfredo, Elias, Zolin, Becky, and the amazing women rockstars at the SPA affiliated with Los Pasos. I was so amazed with the property and the room was MUCH more spacious than we thought. We stayed the perfect amount of nights and were treated like royalty by the most appreciative and pleasant staff. I will be seeing you all again next year and thank you SO much for a wonderful stay.
