    • No wife in the room! The room was next to street so you heard noise all day and not quiet

Staff was extremely kind and helpful! Amazing attitude and care for details!

Room was a big noisy and the pillows weren’t comfortable.

    Location, aesthetics, restaurant and garden.

The only drawback was we could hear the noise coming from the kitchen and restaurant from the room in the morning.

    10MeganPosted on: 1-5-2026

Location is great, right in the middle of Antigua. The hotel grounds are beautiful and have great views of the volcanoes from the rooftop. The team was able to coordinate several rides for us - from the airport and to/from Lake Atitlan which was very helpful! We ate one night at the hotel restaurant and had a delicious chapin meal.

The room is a bit dated, but that is part of the charm of the hotel. Despite it being dated, the room was very clean.

    Good location

Rooms are very old, beds are hard and there’s a lot of noise and we couldn’t sleep.

    10CaraPosted on: 11-24-2025

My partner and I had the most wonderful stay while in Antigua! The hotel is stunning, we loved the courtyards and all the plants. Its location too is perfect, it was close to all the things we wanted to do. We had a very relaxing stay and would 100% come again!

The property is well located and charming.

Rooms are small and certain rooms are very loud. We changed our room three times.

Location, friendly staff, great restaurant and gardens, friendly and helpful staff

    Everything was great!

Well maintained colonial building in the center of the city.

No fitness center, pool and spa.

    10BezaPosted on: 11-4-2025

Hotel was amazing, we loved the building how it’s been well kept and is very clean. Employees work hard to make you comfortable and are eager to assist. Location is great in the center of everything you can’t get any better!

Rooms could have ceiling fans for comfort.

This hotel is in a prime location. Our room faced the Main Street with views of the famous Antigua arches. There was some noise in the evening, but it was not late into the night. Also, we stayed during the week and not the weekend. The beds, showers, ambiance, WiFi and daily filtered water were great. My daughter said their horchata was the best in the city. Take a moment to get on their rooftop for pics! This place is magical!

Absolutely, beautiful gardens and landscaping… The ambience was great

No air-conditioning! I had a really hard time sleeping, because it was uncomfortably hot.

    10AyeshaPosted on: 4-25-2025

I loved loved loved my stay here! Room 114 was huge, beautiful, and windows opened up to the garden where the constant sound of the water fountain was so soothing. The staff was always smiling and greeting you, the hotel itself is beautiful, the restaurant is next to a garden. There is lovely artwork displayed around the hotel (I was lucky to be able to purchase 2 canvas paintings from the local artist who displays his art there!) Hotel location was very convenient and easy walking anywhere I wanted to go. My room was very quiet and peaceful, and I truly enjoyed my time in Antigua and this hotel! I absolutely will return.

    9VivianaPosted on: 4-8-2025

I was in the 1st floor with window outside the street and too much noise of cars with music, people talking and not AC I’m Genius level with breakfast and I have to pay for breakfast

    3JorgePosted on: 3-16-2025

Excellent location.Food is OKProperly looks nice. Gardens are nice

No A/C.No way to open a window without loosing privacy.Bathroom is small. When showering, the curtain is all over your.Noisy, extremely noisy. We couldn’t sleep until 12:30 am when the street noise stopped.TV wasn’t working. Not enough furniture in the room and bathroom.

    10PaulPosted on: 2-25-2025

This hotel is pricier than many others in Antigua, principally due to its location right by the Arch of Santa Catalina. Our room window overlooked the central tourist alley between the town square and the arch, but we didn't hear the commotion when we shut the windows. The hotel restaurant includes live traditional music and a show with dancers dressed in traditional costumes with masks. Be sure to make reservations for dinner when you check in.

    I can't think of anything I didn't like.

    10BlackPosted on: 2-25-2025

Beautiful courtyards. The room was huge and majestic. No street noise coming into the rooms. The restaurant had a chicken soup that was the best I ever tasted! Incredible location.

Noise from other rooms next to ours and outside of the room was pretty noisy when people were talking or showering. The restaurant was wonderful but it is pricey.

    4GalvezPosted on: 2-8-2025

The place is old style place.

The beds are too hard no A/C you wake up with back pain. The rooms are hot at night. Super hat. They have a restaurant they start making noises around 5 am. Loud and you can't sleep anymore for the money I should book a better place
