Great location, beautiful hotel, wonderful staff.

One nIght the main service was subpar

Charming, well managed, and lovely setting. They are eco-friendly and Rainforest Alliance certified! Love the filtered water in the rooms. Pool is great. Food is pretty yummy.

Use of too many plastic bottles for shampoo, etc.

Loved the beautiful grounds and landscaping! Was a peaceful place to stay. The room was nice.

The room had a bit of a urine smell. I think it was from the chair in the corner. For the price I would expect breakfast to be included. Both meals I had there lacked a lot of flavor. was bland. The bathroom fan was so loud it gave me anxiety.

Very clean and comfortable

Staff was not helpful when finding transportation- we filled out the information three times and when we arrived they told us they would t be able to find us a ride to the airport- after talking to multiple staff members they found our information and confirmed we did have transportation?

I loved the old world charm and tropical setting! I felt like I was in Cuba circa 1959. The tropical plants were breathtaking. The staff was always alert, charming and helpful. I have rarely seen such a large property that was so immaculately clean and cared for.

I tried to arrange airport transportation the night before I was to leave, but was told,” sorry we have no cars available. You should have booked one a month before “ .After the 5 star service all week, I was actually shocked. I was given a taxi drivers name on a scrap of paper and was told several times the hotel would not guarantee he would arrive . ( he showed up and was lovely)

The facilities, location and comfort of Porta is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and so comfortable.

The cost could have included breakfast, especially when we had 10 rooms booked.

Staff was very helpful and nice, the hotel was beautiful, bed very comfortable, shower was great, and location was close to everything.

There isn’t anything I can say I didn’t like.

Safe, near everything, staff hospitality and mainly the cleanliness of the room.

We tried a lot of the dinner options and wasn’t that great.

Overall, the hotel was excellent. Staff were friendly and professional. The location was great! And the food, was terrific!!

Amazing hotel! Super friendly and informative staff, great facilities, very comfortable beds, and a very powerful shower (which is what we needed after our volcano hike).

The beds were super confortable . Cleaness is 100% Two pools to choose from , normal one and more adults and quite one.The staff was amazing. Response from room service 100% Parking logistics are good

I would have prefered bottle water inside our room and the towels and robe could be a bit bigger,

This hotel has it all: clean rooms, friendly staff, awesome pool, great restaurant!

Wished the room had a mini fridge and microwave to keep drinks cold and reheat leftover food while staying here.

Staff not very helpful and didn’t give us information on having to book jacuzzi / give us or welcome drink tickets ect Just too $ for what you get

The facilities were great. Great central location with easy access to shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.Meals were good value and great at the in-house restaurant. The temperature of the pool water could have been a bit warmer. Strongly recommend as a great place to stay.

Some of the staff does not speak English, which was a bit problematic, as they keep speak Spanish even when we told that we unfortunately don’t speak this language.We were celebrating New Year‘s night in the hotel and the variety of dishes was not the best for the price suggested. All drinks should be additionally paid and were not included in the price.

The bed is comfortable and it is aesthetically pleasing

For a 4/5 star hotel the service was quite hostile. I felt pushed out and burdening them during our one night stay

Location, views, clean, full comfort & great Shower pressure. Restaurant food fresh ingredients.
