The room was comfortable, clean, and just 1 minute from the highway.

It’s a bit outdated huge hotel. No bar, no restaurant-but you can order food from the city.

The room was perfect, pretty big and comfy. Staff super nice. Covered parking was offered for free.

Our room, as many other was facing the highway, we weren’t able to get any sleep at all, there was traffic ALL night long. Being that close to a highway windows should be better.

Location is very comfortable for getting to Madrid by car. Las Risas village is just 5 minutes drive. Free and big parking with easy access

Very noisy in room

Very kind staff, nice rooms, free parking in the garage. Great value.

Rooms are not rooms but apartments (so very large). Also breakfast was quite rich and good. Staff was helpful.

The hotel is far from the center and very close to the highway, with heavy traffic for most of the day; so if the room is not on the other side of the road you can hear the noise.

Closed restaurant was a minus, but overall it was a nice experience and the girl in reception was kind and very professional.

Good value for money

Lots of noise from other guests early in the morning, paper thin walls. There was also a lot of heavy traffic movement on the road directly outside the hotel.

Mini suite was very large and comfortable. Beds great. Sadly it was not ideal for me as a disabled user as no walk in shower and the bath was very deep with fixed glass shower so did not make it idea to access without my carer. Free underground parking was ideal and secure.

Next time l will go for ordinary twin room with walk in shower as it was not suitable having such a deep bath. Also take note that we arrived about 2 pm and no food was available in hotel. Told did not start until 8pm. We ordered in food delivery and collected at reception. Finding the access to hotel by road was not easy so perhaps a bit more additional information on booking sheet would really help - as in which street to access car park from??

Clean, spacious, and comfortable beds. There was free parking and easy access to the A6 autopista. Also just a short walk to the train station for the 40min. ride into Madrid.

The Breakfast buffet and the times to make use of it were both excellent.The free Car park underneath the hotel is very convenient. The separate 'living room' beside the bedroom was very convenient, most especially due to physical weakness of one of us.The bed was very comfortable, as is the bathroom with all its amenities.The location is especially good for people that have a (rental) car, but bus and train are also available within acceptable distance.

There was some noise of furniture shifting over the granite floors. That could simply be prevented with some felt patches under the feet of all chairs.

Good location for exploring locations outside of Madrid: great access to highway, most sites accessible within 1 hours or less driving. Rooms was spacious. Check in and check out process very easy and not time consuming. Vending machine available 24/7 in case you need something.

Hotel has seen a better days. It looks outdated and there are many signs of rooms being “tired”. Cosmetic repairs needed, as many cracks on the walls, ceiling. Water pressure low in the shower. Room has plenty of wardrobes, but only few hangers (additional hangers were provided on request). Windows were not properly isolated, there was continuous drought of cold air. Breakfast OK, but nothing special. Biggest concern was the poor noise insulation. You can hear everything going on on the hallway, people talking outside next to the main enteranca, and also the furniture being moved during the cleaning as if the war has started. Earplugs are a must for any sleep.

Everything was o.k.

This is not the first time we come to Exe Grand Hotel Almenar. We come at this hotel when we want to be located on the west of Madrid. We usually take a twin Beds bedroom and with it we have a living room in addition to the bedroom. This makes the hotel very comfortable for 2 persons. We like also the bath room with a bathtub. The free parking is also very convenient. This time I appreciated the addition of a kettle for the early morning coffee.

There is a constant: the wifi. Even though it is working very well in the lobby and ground floor, WiFi doesn’t reach the rooms. We stayed several times in different rooms of the hotel and WiFi is always poor in the bed rooms. Also I think the breakfast is pricy and not the best quality. There are several better and cheaper options in Las Matas (15 min walk) and hat we would recommend.

It’s close to the airport, the room is very big and comfortable

Stayed in Junior Suite. It’ was spacious.

Location not that good. Dinner was only served Monday - Thursday. You could only order room service at 8pm Mon. - Thurs. and no restaurants nearby, very poor. Hotel was also noisy.
