- Spectacular property in a fantastic location. The property is beautiful and the woodwork is incredible. Very clean and close to everything in Morella. The view from the window was very peaceful and lovely.
- So nice to experience how we were assisted getting our luggage to the hotel, being far later than the time we were supposed to be there. Even gave us the opportunity to eat and drink something in their restaurant nearby . Very much appreciated that !
- Nice, old fashioned hotel at a good central location. Luggage loading/unloading if you have a car requires to drive into the narrow streets, dropping the staff then moving the car a few hundred meters to the tourist parking. We left the luggage at the reception for several hours - thanks!
Cons -
- It's essentially a "self service" property. Once you check in, you are on your own. There is no one on the property after 6pm. If you have a problem, good luck! The person checking us in was polite, but not at all friendly or helpful. Seemed like we bothered her. A huge complaint is their pillows. They have one long pillow for a queen size bed. Very uncomfortable. Consider providing better pillows. Also, our air conditioner didn't work, so we opened the windows, which was nice, but the bugs got nasty.
- Dinner options are not great in Morella, so we ended up having dinner at one of the other hotels.
- It was perfect, as is the gorgeous town of Morella.

The two ladies who helped us during our stay were brilliant ! They stored our cheese, froze our ice packs and extended our stay when the terrible floods forced a change of plans! Our lovely wee room looked out over the countryside and gave us front row seats to the most amazing thunderstorms! The room was warm and cosy and having a bath was a real treat ! And breakfast was delicious! Toast, jams, pastries, meats, cheese, fruit, juice and very good coffee!
It was perfect, as is the gorgeous town of Morella.
Classic/traditional old world charm. Large room. Views over roof tops to the valley. Efficient staff.Delicious pastries for breakfast.
Breakfast was adequate but not very exciting, typical.
Great location. Comfortable. 2 floors without a lift.
Staff: hotel run by 1 person, not very proactive
It was clean
There was no bar, although they said they had it. No restaurant. Where it was, not a good place. If you wanted to go for dinner or drinks you had to go up many steps, not easy especially when you can’t walk to easy. Not to friendly staff.
Friendly staff and nice rooms
Breakfast only, not evening food or refreshments
In the historic centre of Morella, with fabulous views over the valley from our balcony. The room was recently decorated in traditional style, with a modern bathroom. Staff were very helpful - when we had a problem with our shutters they upgraded us to a better room. In a quiet side street, loudest noise was the church bells! Generous breakfast with pastries, cheese, ham and fruit.
No restaurant, so needed to eat out in the evening.
Everything was perfect, except the tea and coffee were served not hot, but I will still recommend it to everyone. Hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful.
Tea and coffee weren't too hot, as I like it really hot
Lady appeared to work on her own, but managed quite well. She was Pleasant. Hotel position good.
No bar or lounge area or outside space. Bit disappointed. No
Charming hotel - all marble staicase and wood. Old fashioned style but completely modern and tasteful. Great view from the room (203)
No lift - but not a problem for us. Woul have preferred an earlier breakfast start time.
You couldn't get closer to the action. Friendly staff and interesting breakfast. ?
Not having restaurant or bar, but you can't have everything. It wouldn't stop us from staying again.
Nice rooms in charming old buildning.
The breakfast was rather simple at least from Nordic viewpoint.
Good location for the town visit.
Reception not very welcoming. An alarm went off when we were in bed. There were no staff on site. I had to ring to tell them. They turned up and turned it off without any comment or apology.Exiting the parking was nigh on impossible. I scraped the wheel arch on exit (Opel Mokka) the pillar had a rubber protection which was worn away so offered no protection. Not worth paying for.
The lady on reception carried two of our bags (the heaviest) up to our room, which was on the third (top) floor. She was very helpful.
No lift. The stairs are a struggle for people with impaired mobility. For non Spanish speaking English there was no English spoken.
Room and bathroom were spacious. Nice balcony in the sun without street noise. Hotel was clean.
The airco in the room did not work. On the nice balcony were 10 airco machines. Fortunately there was only on other guest so we only heard the noise of one airco. As our airco did not work (we found that out too late to go and ask for assistance) the room was fairly hot (direct under the roof). Beds were not very comfortable. Over the mattress was a plastic feeling sheet. Getting to the hotel was quite a climb getting to our room as well (3rd floor no lift).
Location
Bed very small
Incredible location
Also, it’s Location is a nightmare to Park, town is really difficult to access.
Typical Spanish building in centre of village
