    Pros +

    • The room heater. The evening check in lady.
    • We stayed in this hotel when we walked the Camino 8 years ago. We liked the hotel and the town and surrounding countryside so much that we returned for an overnight stay this time with a car, while on route from southern Spain to France. Pleasant and relaxing small town plaza, with couple of restaurants that served good food, very comfortable and clean hotel with restful atmosphere, nice sitting area on top floor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect cafe/bar in the lobby of hotel for a drink or for breakfast (the tortilla was delicious and the coffee was excellent). The hotel cafe is obviously popular with the locals as well.
    • Clean, comfortable and good location.

    Cons -

    • The water did not get very hot, so the bath I had looked forward to, was a let down. The place no longer offered the 8 euro breakfast.
    • The town is on a major truck route, which seems strange for the region and not on a major highway, but it seems this is a preferred route for trucks going to and from Burgos. That said, this has nothing to do with the hotel and the traffic didn't interfere with our stay or our sleep. Lighting in the room was not ideal -- either too bright overhead lights or too dim bedside lights. No fridge in room which we never expect but always appreciate to keep our travel food supply fresh.
    • Hard to find the Camino. No markings.

An older classic hotel, very clean, comfortable bed, great bathroom with a bathtub! Plenty of blankets & a mini- split heater- which we used! Comfortable bed & pillows. Could get coffee & breakfast on premises. Great place!

Well located with easy access to stores, pharmacy, and places to eat. The hotel bar was convenient and well stocked.

Hard to find the Camino. No markings.

Excellent location to bus, town square, Camino. So cozy and quiet given its location on the Main Street. The reception was great!

    9BensonPosted on: 9-3-2025

    Great location and room.

Couple next door came in drunk and loud. Continued for hours.

Friendly staff, cold AC, good breakfast!

The room was very comfortable; nice bed and table.

It was very loud in that the floors would creak above me. Could also hear people moving in the hall outside the room easily.

Centrally located in town close to the Camino. Friendly front desk staff. Nice bar for getting light tapas and a drink. Has nice buffet breakfast for extra money. Bus stops for Logrono and Burgos just on or close to the property. Room large with moderate size bathroom.

    10PhilPosted on: 5-11-2025

It's all about the staff and we got a wonderful welcome after a hard day's walking. A nice little bar for snacks and breakfast and a great location handy for the bars & restaurants. Room was comfortable.

    10GregoryPosted on: 5-4-2025

Great location. Great bar. Comfortable room.

    10AmyPosted on: 4-5-2025

Staff were kind and helpful and the room was well-equipped. Loved the cafe downstairs for a beverage when I arrived and breakfast before I left.

For whatever reason, the keys/doors were hard to figure out! But the staff (more than once!) came to my rescue to let me back in my room.
