Hotel Arrope

Room was nice and bed was comfortable. Shower got hot and water perssure was great. Breakfast was good and had decent variety (cereals, granola, fruis, egg, bread, spanish omlette). Staff was friendly. Easily walkable around town.

Would have been nice to have more than one pillow per person on the bed so that when you're sitting on the bed, you can prop up.

Comfortable room, beer terrace, excellent location walking distance to downtown.

The location, bar and restaurant were very good and the staff helpful and good, particularly in the restaurant.

Room liked facilities such as no plugs in bathroom sinks, no toilet roll holder, no mirror in bedroom and no comfortable chair.

One of the rooms was too hot and we couldn’t turn the heating down

The accommodation was great. However, the restaurant overcharged and we were shocked to pay more for the simple dinner than the actual price for our stay. We would stay again but not to eat at the restaurant.

We didn’t sleep much the adjacent rooms were NOT sound proofed. All the activity into the night, 3am were amusing but didn’t help sleep. The hotel need to improve this at 270 Euros we expected better. It’s a shame as everything else was perfect

The room was clean, bed was ok, common areas were very nice, breakfast was good. Overall, a decent place to stay.

There was no communication about where to (and NOT to) park!! (We got a traffic ticket!) The parking area is about 3 blocks away. Some of the hotel staff and service people were surly, while others were nice.

Good location in Haro and bike friendly; we were able to stow bikes in a storage area so we didn't have to worry about them. Hotel bar and restaurant were nice; bar / restaurant has a nice terrace which is great for sunny days!

Rooms need to be soundproofed; could hear people breathing in neighboring rooms.

Nice hotel, located a bit off the center. Friendly staff and great restaurant for dinner. I was there in the Semana Santa (over Easter) and hence the parking situation in the town was tough - had to park a bit away, roughly 5min by foot.

Due to the semana santa (completely crowded town and surroundings), the price for the hotel was high (but less than half of what would have been charged in Logrono, hence I took Arrope in Haro as cheaper alternative).

A bit over-priced in my opinion. Expensive and no breakfast included. Parking is also a pain. Ok though

We love staying in Arrope. The hotel is lovely and the staff are great. We had a splendid dinner in the restaurant on both nights and travelled to the Plaza to buy wine and met a very nice guy who was good friends with our receptionist.

The staff was exceptionally helpful, especially Nor. Great location, close to all Rioja area bodegas and wine destinations. Loved the vibe: clean, modern hotel that was very manageable; not a big "mega" American-style chain hotel. Especially enjoyed the outside terrace for wine and coffee; loved the vibe and fact that locals co.e by and enjoy it too. Will definitely recommend it to friends: great value and greT location. And staff.

Location

The breakfast was a disaster, did not replenish things like croissants with enough quantity (i did 2 travels to get one and they were fished light speed). Good bed but window to inner courtyard.
