- It would help if the hotel sign was legible. The sign was up on a corner with the paint faded to non existence. Spent ages looking for it.

- Does not offer breakfast, and the single room faced an inner courtyard with little natural light.

Hotel with a good location, parking nearby, a clean and comfortable environment.
Does not offer breakfast, and the single room faced an inner courtyard with little natural light.
I have stayed here before and as such not much has changed. It is a decent hotel. My room opened onto a light well so no real view but as such it was good value. Staff are helpful and look to help. It is clean and a nice location.
The smell from drains was an issue. Proximity to the reception with poor sound insulation from the doors if the hotel is busy will be a problem.
Lovely location. Quiet but very close to everything in Avila. Nice room with a beautiful wooden floor. Very clean.
The lighting was too dim to read by. A side light is needed.I found the matress a bit hard.
Property was ok.
The fact they didn't warn about large parties with very loud young guests who clearly had no respect for the other guests.
Nice and quaint budget hotel inside Avila's city walls. The staff was really friendly and helpfull. Rooms were basic, but clean and comfortable. Bed mattress was confortable and gave a good night rest.
It's a basic hotel, so no breakfast available, no one in the morning to check-out (you just leave the key at the counter). There were no curtains in the room windows ... (and in front there's a terrace, don't know if used or not)
Very peaceful hotel in little square just inside medieval city walls. Perfect for strolling and eating in town or in hotel Italian cuisine.
No problems
Nice room and location
Wifi was not available on some place of the roorm. There was no signal in the bed area
Very clean and quiet
Impossible to check out online
Decent hotel very close to the plaza mayor. Room was small but ok for me as single traveller. Nice shower and desk for laptop.
Very good hotel in great location
I can hear the other guest talk in there room near main and somtimes they was very laoud.
Location is excellent, inside the walled old town. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. I was able to walk from the train station and then to the bus station when I left, but it's over 2km walk. I recently finished the Camino de Santiago and was traveling with a backpack, so I was fit enough to do it. Most people would need a taxi. Small room with a bathroom. Adequate.
I was the victim of a bait and switch scam. The hotel changed their price, increased by 50 Euros after I'd booked!!! I couldn't cancel or I'd have been charged. I was traveling there in 2 days so there was nothing to do but go or lose my money. The room was hot when I arrived. There's a thermostat but where the numbers should be, there was a hole covered in scotch tape. There were 2 settings: heat and air conditioning. It was on heat, so I pushed the lever down to air conditioning. The air conditioning didn't work, but at least it turned off the heat. The next day when I arrived back at my room, either the cleaning staff or maintenance had put a space heater in the room. It seemed kind of complicated to operate so I left it alone. Wasn't giving off heat. Unknown to me, it was plugged in and came on overnight. I had a very hot, uncomfortable sleep kicking off the covers. When I awoke int he morning I realized the space heater was churning out heat and I pulled the plug out. I guess I should have done that the night before, but I really thought I had to operate the controls to turn it on. So hot, uncomfortable, and pissed off about being charged a higher price didn't make for a good stay.
The location was great -inside the walled city and within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, monuments, and beautiful plazas. The staff at the hotel were super welcoming and kind. A special mention goes to Pilar, who checked us in - great customer service. The restaurant next door has good food at very reasonable prices, and the wait staff was also very accommodating and helpful. There is paid parking nearby and the area is very safe. We will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit to Ávila.
Very good value of money! Single room is quite small, but nice and clean, great service, good location!
very good WiFiLarge bathroom
Air conditioning / Heating didn’t work very well. No way to alter the settings, so the air con was too hot. Also, bed seemed a bit small, particularly the width.
The staff were lovely: friendly and very helpful. It was not very expensive, but the hotel is attractive and the room was very comfortable. I would certainly stay there again!
Lovely historical building just inside the walls and not far from the Plaza and Cathedral. Very close to birthplace of St Teresa. Note that the on site Restaurant is a very nice Italian and not the Meson Del Rastro which is separate. Recommend the tourist tranvia which goes all over the city and out to various sites nearby. Also breakfast at Santagloria is very good.
Note that the reception is unmanned at night so if you want a taxi etc before 1000 then order it the previous night or book it yourself on the phone.
Location. Nice restaurant. (Italian, which was a welcome change, and many locals use it.) Good view from room over a pretty little square. A little noisy at night (it is in Spain!) but very quiet once the restaurant had closed. Helpful with storing our bikes.
