Great location and wonderful staff.

Parking was tough. Driving in old town was tough.

I loved the aesthetics so beautiful like travelling back in time, very comfortable and very well located walking distance to everything very comfy and warm in the winter they had the room warmed up when i arrived I loved the bed and the decor and the man at the reception who checked me in was really kind overall, recommend

the shower filtered and made the bathroom extremely wet- I asked at the reception, and the lady there didn't seem to care much, but they offered more towels to put in the floor when that happens the room was so comfy, but it would be nice to have a kettle

Did not sample any breakfast or other services while staying here. Location was very good, as was the value. Parking for motorcycle was perfect - right outside the hotel.

Was a bit warm in the room, but they did provide fans to help with ventilation. Wifi was not very strong.

The location is great to visit the town. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable and the continental breakfast is great value. The staff were very helpful. Parking was available just outside city walls

I stayed here off season, it was very quiet and I found that the hotel offered great value and comfort for my money. I like the full-sized bed and big shower (too often hotels give solo travelers a broom closet, not here!). They also arranged a safe space to store my bicycle inside. I was given an option for a self check-in, but there was also a receptionist throughout the day and evening. The historical building and interior are great, and the location is excellent.

I missed coffee/tea making facilities in my room.

A nice old building, near the centre of Avila. Decent room and breakfast, safe garage parking available on-site.

Its quite difficult to find and the roads in Avila are tight.

Dimly lit. Atmospheric but need better lighting the stair area. No sound proofing - could hear absolutely everything including a very amorous couple next door! Hot - know it was cold outside but the bathroom radiator was red hot, all night. Had to open a terrace door.

The staff are lovely and the location and indeed the room was very nice close to all parts of the old town.

There is close to zero sound and insulation Exposed floor boards are nice but if there are gaps, you hear absolutely everything in the rooms above. Disturbed sleep etc. a real shame.

The hotel building was beautiful and well preserved, the room was spacious, and the location was excellent. We had a broken shower head but this was replaced immediately by the staff. Good security at the hotel with door codes

The bar was not open at any time during our staff and there was rarely anyone on reception. The WiFi signal was non-existent in our room. The room was a little chilly on arrival and there was a lot of noise - plumbing and banging doors as they were difficult to shut.

Breakfast was good, rooms are super cozy

Can be a bit loud in the street nearby, especially when the garbage collecting truck passes by the hotel in the early morning.

Comfort in a noble mansion, the hotel is in heart of walled city. Great historic atmosphere of renaissance. Rooms are spacious & well furnished. Lovely warmth on a wet weekend. Great self serve continental breakfast for 5/6€. Lovely balcony view of church from our room.

All good, demand led pricing fluctuates widely. Pick an off peak night, as Avila popular weekends.
