Excellent property clean spacious and ideally located

I liked everything

The location and it is very clean.

The bathtub when taking a shower didn’t drain well and the water rose to the ankle level which is truly unsanitary. Besides that, take note that reserving through Booking.com it is very often that the hotel will assign you a room without a view or I should say, not a good one; in our case, our room’s view was a group of pipes and over the kitchen which made us to wake up very early with a vivid scent of food cooking, not pleasant at all.For us it wasn’t a good experience staying there even though the people working in the hotel were very fine and very very clean.

Location, big rooms, peace and quiet

Nothing out of the ordinary

From the first moment we entered the room, we liked it. It is clean, with everything you need.The bathroom is large with 2 sinks. The location is just excellent and Avila herself makes you fall in love with her. They have a very good breakfast for 15€The parking is 3 min walking for 24,4€ per day

I cannot complain about anything, we just stayed for one night.

The cleanliness of the bedroom and the way you can't close the door to the bathroom. TV didn't work.

This is a beautiful property and perfect location. They provide a dog bed, and bowls.

While it says they are “pet friendly” this is the least pet friendly hotel I’ve stayed at across France, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, and Belgium.The lady on reception did not make me feel welcome with my dog. I had to sign a 2 page contract and pay €30 per night for the stay. The contract stipulated that pets are not allowed to be in any areas of the hotel other than your room, and that you are not allowed to leave your pet alone in your room. This ultimately meant I was not able to use the facilities of the hotel or go out to dinner. I was also not allowed to wash my dog in the shower if for example his paws got dirty while outside. With so many rules, the hotel should have been made these clear prior to booking.

Quiet and clean

Should have known about construction/entrance relocation at booking.

The location was excellent. The staff were so so helpful and kind. The breakfast was delicious and everything you could want was available. The staff were always available to help us .

The front was being renovated so We had to enter from the side.

Rooms are needing upgrades Staff we’re not friendly apart from very nice lady who was cleaning rooms.Receptionist did move us when we asked for room with a view.No please or Thank you No communication. Reception staff need to improve their skills.

View of the cathedral wasn’t what I expected, it was too close, you could only see a wall.Some of the linen was really old and the pillows smelled

Great location, lovely building.

Unfortunately room was very warm and the air con wasn't working. They did offer to change our room but at 4.30am it was a bit late.

Walkable to restaurants, stores , church.It was really nice!

High-end hotel in a refurbished historical palace, with great rooms and super convenient location, within the old town walls. BIG, modern rooms! And the accomodations are top notch. Highly recommended.

the room was disappointing for the price. very basic. bathroom poorly laid out. a squeeze to get in past the sink to the toilet

No tea and coffee making facilities and poor WiFi in the bedroom

Super location, clean, comfortable.

The hotel was clean.

We booked a room with 3 beds, the room we got had 2 floors with 1 bed in the topfloor, which was extremely warm, noisy and had broken windows which caused a lot of light coming in at night making it impossible to sleep. When I asked for an alternative at reception they told me I would have to pay for an extra room. The room we got was also completely different from the picture.
