It was a walking distance from the Cuatro Postes.

We were given a very old room with an air conditioner that did not work. The room did not look anything like the picture on the Booking website. The room was stuffy including the hotel’s hallways. When we complained, the reception staff seemed surprised but assured us everything was working fine. We had to sleep with the window open to allow cool air to enter the room. Then we realized during breakfast the following day that the hotel had a new side to the hotel where the rooms looked liked the pictures on the website.

Buffet breakfast needed more options. Almost nothing prepared, just watery scrambled eggs.

Hotel has updated room and bath and new clean linens and towels. It’s has the character Spanish boutique hotel.

Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff.

Room key didn't work. Had to get maintenance man to resolve.

Room with a view of the ancient walls and secure parking.

No food available until 8 pm other than bar snacks. A lot of road traffic noise.

Great view to the city from the very close 4 Postes. Parking is very easy.

Bed is too firm, hard to have a nice rest

Very nice hotel close to the the walled town, we drove there by car so parking was easy. On site the hotel has a restuarant as well as a cafe if you want something lighter or to eat a little earlier in the evening. Facilities very good and comfortable. Views overlooking the walled town with a 10 -15 minute walk to get there.

Nothing we did not like about this hotel.

We loved the pre checkin, the staff were so friendly and attentive and the hotel was super clean and comfortable

Las Bombas. The donuts , they were too dry and boaring.

We were pleased to find the self service restaurant open all day so that we could eat at a time to suit us.

The bed was very hard indeed and one of the bedside lights did not work.

Nice and professional staffEasy parkingComfy beds

The toilet has zero privacy: toilet room has no door to separate from the room and the WC itself is separated by a floating crystal door with huge margin between the wall. Cafeteria food is poor, we tried three tapas and the three were disappointing.

Breakfast is excellentLocated overlooking the city walls. Fantastic views staff are extremely helpful

Only staying 1 night... But i be bac ?

On arrival we asked for a room with a view of the city and were given a free upgrade to facilitate this. Hotel quality is good at a very reasonable price. Plenty of free parking outside front of hotel. Restaurant and bar on site although we didn't use it so cannot comment further. There is also a Meson next to the hotel which serves the local specialities.

Everything. The food was very yummy. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was very good. The veiw was amazing. We have stayed here several times now. Always excellent. Secure underground parking for our motorbike. (Most important..!) Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice.

    Nothing to dislike!

Good view from the window of the walled town. The cafeteria of the hotel had a good atmosphere frequented by local people. Parking was easy. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was tired and needed refurbishment, trim hanging off, the double glazed windows were misty and could do with replacing, you had to open the windows to appreciate the view. Breakfast wasn’t very good and although we were the only ones in there, we weren’t allowed to sit by the window and the server dropped all the blinds completely so the room was quite dark.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it was just a one night stopover on a motorcycle trip around Spain and Portugal and I picked it as it was pretty much a convenient way point for me.The staff at reception were really helpful and went above and beyond the call to help. Motorcycle parking was excellent, and although safe and secure enough at the front of the hotel, there is really good underground./secure parking and for which there is no charge for a motorbike. It's a big hotel and there is lift access from the garage to reception and to other floors which makes things easy when carrying motorcycle luggage. I didn't eat dinner at the hotel so cant comment, but there is a small attached cafe bar - beer was the most expensive there during my whole trip in Spain and Portugal and there is another place to eat a few yards down from the front entrance. The walled town of Avila is only a 20 minute or so walk away and there are the usual things including supermarkets etc.All in all a decent stay - breakfast was additonal to the room rate and was decent enough.

There was nothing that I didn't like, and I would stop there again if travelling that way, although it was a larger type of hotel than I would normally stay in the excellent service from the staff at reception added a nice and welcome personal touch.
