Hotel Puerta de la Santa

Location was great, we had a short stay and were in a great location in the city. It was easy to get to the town center and everything is reachable by foot. Avila is a walkable and quaint town to visit.

The parking situation was difficult to find out, but that was not any fault of the hotel. Next time, we would probably arrive with a train or something, but given the short time we had we had to take a car.

Our host was friendly and helpful. The hotel is extremely well located to see Avila. Garage parking was great

Lovely little hotel tucked away right next to city walls.Convenient little underground garage to park our motorcycles.

The hotel was right outside the wall of the city , just meters from one of the gates. There was parking available in the street, and a parking garage just behind the hotel.

Our room faced the road behind the hotel going down to the parking garage, which could bother some especially early morning during the week, but not too much.

Location, spotlessly clean, staff were very friendly and helpful with really good communist despite my very poor attempts at speaking Spanish!

The bathroom smelled a little bit. The walls are not too sound isolated.

Noises through the wall from other bathrooms, dysfuntional batroom door, clerk didn‘t know an eCar chargin place was around the corner

The hotel was very well situated, near the old city wall. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There was plenty of free parking in the street below the hotel. There was a cafetería onsite where you could grab coffee and breakfast. Very recommended!

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I loved the fact that we could park on the street free! It was also nice to have a small cafe connected to the hotel. The location was perfect.

The hotel was next to one of the entrance gates to the town so very easy access to the attractions. We were able to get on street parking but there is an underground paying Carpark next to the hotel if that is preferred. The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. There is a small cafeteria attached to the hotel where you can get a light breakfast. If we return to Avila we would be more than happy to stay here again

Excellent location

There were no plugs in the bathroom for the sink or bath. When I asked the receptionist, I was told that they couldn't get any at the moment. There is a general hardware shop about 10 minutes walk away in town. My elderly mother, who is travelling with me, can not stand under a shower as her feet slide.The bedside lights were too far from the bed to be useful.

It was clean and close to the centre of everything. Rasto car park very close by.

Perfect mini-hotel, right across from city gates, with free street parking (or very reasonable underground parking meters away). Small, but clean and new, with helpful staff. Good breakfast available in adjacent cafe.

Bathroom spotless, but a bit cramped.
