Hotel Cándido

Beautiful room, great bathroom, both unusually large. Go to the restaurant that is related to the hotel, same ownership, Meson Candidato, it's within the town walls, a quick trip from the hotel by car. Absolutely superb food and service. Enjoy

The hotel is beautiful, the stuff is very polite and nice. Location is good if you have a car, if not-it’s a little bit far from the center. The hotel has a big parking, good breakfast. Even there is option without gluten. There comfortable beds

The hotel looks tired. I would replace some luxuries staff in the hall for bathrobe, slippers and water or tea pot in the each room.

Did not have breakfast.Location, good if you have a car. Great if you use the bus. Bus stop # 5 was across the street from the hotel.Bus ride to the aqueduct stop was about 10 minutes.Hotel receptionist Anna was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and has a good sense of humor.

Comfortable rooms and beds, nice pool, very helpful staff. Easy to catch a bus or grab a taxi into town.

The process for getting a pool towel was unnecessarily complicated but not a huge deal.

Not a great choice unless you have arrived by car. The bus from the train station stops at the hotel. The bus into Segovia has a stop in front of the hotel, but coming back it stops some distance away. You might need Google Maps to figure out how to walk back to the hotel from the bus stop

The booking.com site has a large picture of the pool and spa. However, the spa is closed most of the time. It was closed our stay, from Sunday afternoon until Wednesday morning. So don't believe the photo, read the fine print. The spa is mostly closed.

Restaurant food & room service food absolutely terrible, spent £100 on lunch and it was worth about £20, it really wasn’t good quality food or cooking whatsoever. Terrible!Very limited selection of drinks at the bar, disappointing. The Spa/ gym rarely open, it has very limited opening hours & you have to pay extra to use these, this wasn’t explained in the catalogue. We needed to leave the hotel early for work one morning, and the main doors were locked shut, the receptionist wasn’t at the desk and when he appeared, he walked very very slowly to press the buttons to open the main doors, no urgency about him whatsoever, deliberately kept us waiting.

Booked room with spa access and couldn't use spa because we need to get it reserved . what is the point paying additional for spa access direct if it need to get it reserved .

Spacious, good large bedroom. CleanStaff were very friendly.

The extra cost for the Spa. The Padel courts look derelict and need attention.I think the bedrooms could do with some TLC.

Decor was beautiful . Spacious ground s with easy on site parking. First rate all round.

The menu in the restaurant only had one vegetarian option. It was tasty but I would have preferred a choice.

A nice spacious family run hotel

If you are thinking that spa would be your main attraction, you need to take into account that the spa needs to be booked and paid for separately and also the limited hours it is open. It is closed on sundays, so a spa weekend is actually a spa-saturday till 7pm…

Decoration and furnishings

Too far from centre. Stated it was a 20 mins walk. Actually more like 35 mins at a good pace
